For those who haven't seen or read Gakuen Alice or Yu-Gi-Oh this is an explanation.
Gakuen Alice is anime where kids from preschool to the last year of high school. An alice is a special power. This story talks about mostly about Sakura. Sakura is dressing up as her brother when he was younger, so if she has to leave early, which she plans on doing.
Yu-Gi-Oh is an anime where a card game was connected to ancient Egypt. The CEO of Kaiba Corp is her older brother. 6 months before the tournament that Seto wants to start, while talking to Sakura about starting the Battle City Tornament, but the alice suddenly showed and she became as young as 11. The Gakuen Alice people found out and that's when Seto started to hide her. She wants to go out and duel again so she sneaks out and goes to Gakuen Alice so she can learn how to control her alice and go back home. This is where she meets Mikan.
