Percy Jackson continued

chapter 1

Author's note :This book is written in succession to Percy Jackson the heroes of Olympus ;the blood of Olympus. And I am not as well a writer as rick riordan .

It all started on my first day of school in new Rome . It was Reyna that got me hooked .Not annabeth or Grover,but Reyna.What did Reyna get me hooked on.Not drugs or smokes ,but the monster games. Yes the monster games,but not the monster games that you might think.this monster was all about killing monsters.yes,you heard me right, killing monsters not the ones under your bed or in your closet ,but the monsters in the old Greek myths. I didn't believe this at first either.But now it seems natural to me to kill them now .So that leads me to here the line to sign to for the monster games to be judged in how well I slay monsters .I'm 9999999999999999999 to register,to me that doesn't seem like that many monsters to me,even though for each participant has to slay 5 monsters of various classes to be evaluated by the Judges to be there next great and colossal hero.

First day:

As soon I woke up I was hyped .who can blame me my ADHD kicked in.I literally couldn't stop moving.Because I was a higher ranking hero I was later in the day so I had a lot of time on my hands so I figured that I may as well get to know my competitors.The first competitor I met was a girl named Toby Richmond she was the quiet type,a daughter of Athena.I could only imagine how many ways she had come up with to kill me.I wandered off sure I would see her again by the time the games were over.The next participant I met was Amari Barr he was a second generation demigod with attributes of both Ares and Hephaestus,so he looked like a very buff miniature giant.He said it took him 2 minutes to make a collapsible double bladed double sided battle ax .But he was to focused on his work to talk so I went to watch other competitors .When it was time for me to face off.I was up against a dracnea and made quick work of her. My second fight was against a Sphinx ."I remember you," Remarked the Sphinx,"You're the one that cheated and broke my grading machine. I'll get you this time."And with that she rushed me.My battle instincts acted immediately and as she swiped at me I jumped landed on her arm,running up her arm I jumped onto her back and sliced her big fat sphinx head right off.

second day:

I woke up the second day of the monster games sore,but excited.I ranked second in the standings so I was fighting right away in the morning .So I suited up and went to the arena to watch the first fight .I was fighting a Hydra and Medusa today so I stretched out and warmed up.I went into my first match ready. I was carrying a torch and my sword.Pretty soon I had the Hydra mad and was in a game of dodge the acid,so I got to work with my sword and torch .I had to scald each wound I had made otherwise the Hydra would grow 2 new heads.The last time I had faced off with a hydra was when Clarissa had saved my sorry ass with a cannon.So I was a little bit nervous going into the fight but that had been 5-6 years ago and I had learned a lot in those years.So it was like doing a 3 step waltz with Annabeth .Slice,burn,burn,slice,burn,burn,slice,burn,burn.It was almost a rhythm. Finally I had severed all the heads and I walked out of the arena triumphant.Later in the day I faced off with Medusa .The judges supplied me with a crappy mirror and a long dagger,the hardest weapon to handle .They obviously wanted me to show them my skill.So I put show on dancing around her cutting and jabbing her,working my way toward her head.I finished her of with a quadruple flip with a downward stab ,sinking my dagger down into her snaky head killing her instantly.

I can't believe it,the judges pulled me aside and said that I was a potential winner and that I might see a glimpse of the podium and to prepare a few words to say if I won .Of course I was flabbergasted and couldn't write in English so i wrote in Greek : Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ much.I το εκτιμούσα.

The next day was the finish of the fights and the awards ceremony .When the awards ceremony came around the judges pulled me aside again and believe it or not Annabeth was with them.I automatically realized that I had placed,and I was to take my girlfriend up on the podium with me . When they called my name announcing the first place I put my hand on annabeth's waist and walked out onto the podium with her I accepted the champagne and the trophy.Popping the lid on the champagne I kissed annabeth and walked off the podium.
