As she sat behind the counter, punching in numbers on a cash register. "What do you recommend?" The next customer asked her with a friendly smile. " Well all of it is good, but I prefer the strawberry cake." the young girl said returning the smile. "Alright I'll get that." As he said that she grabbed one of the boxes and put a piece of the cake in it. He payed and left and the day continued, till she got off work.
She left the bakery and started her way home when she noticed a news reporting in the window of a TV shop, It was about the man from earlier. It was something about him being a well known businessman, surprising, the bakery was local ,and it was in a small town in the country. He must be on a business trip and passing through or something.
When she got home her sister called her. She lived back home in New york and her? She was in Colmar France. Why was She there? Well about two years to now her parents got divorced and her and her sister decided to each go with one parent and she went with her dad back to his home town, but he got cancer and passed last may, so now she was on her own, well not completely she has her cat Sasuke.

Oh and about Colmar not sure if it is small town and on the country side or any of that but in this book it is!!
My grammar sucks so plz comment where anything is to bad and on spelling problems.<3
