Y/N's POV

I looked out the window after reading a bit of my book, there I saw the sign..

|WELCOME TO HURRICANE, UTAH!|

I looked back, continuing reading the book that my aunt gave me for the trip.

'I can't believe I had to leave my old neighborhood just for Hurricane. I mean, yeah Cassie lives here as well but why couldn't she just move back here?! ' I thought to myself, looking back out the window again.

I sighed.

'I miss my old friends. ' I thought to myself, not even focusing on reading any longer.

"Anddd why did we decide to move here exactly?" I asked my parents.

"You were literally complaining for the past 3 years on how much you missed Cassidy. " my mother said, not trying to sound rude.

"Yeah, well, I did but I didn't think we would actually move! " I slightly yelled.

"Well, at least you get to see her again. " She said, focusing on the rode and not on me.

"Yeah fine. " I said, going back to reading my book.

||30 MINUTES LATER||

We finally pulled up at some pizzeria, which made me REALLY confused.

"Mom? Do we live in a pizzeria-?! 😨" I asked, which soon seemed like a stupid question.

She laughed a bit, which made me knew I said something stupid.

"Of course not honey. We're just meeting up with Cassidy and Jeremy!" She said, having a smile grow on her face.

"Ohhhh okay!! " I said, slightly smiling.

We got out of the car and walked inside.

Cassidy and I have been friends since Kindergarten, we got paired up for a project and ever since then, we've been pretty close friends! We were both troublemakers.

Well.. Kind of.

Cassidy was the main troublemaker, which she always pulls me into the drama. But what can I say? Cassidy is Cassidy! I can't change her for who she is!

We walked through the doors. I looked around to the sight of arcade games and creepy looking robot furries singing. The smell of pizza filled the air. Half of myself felt joy while the other half wanted me to not want to be here.

But here I am.

"HEY!! Y/N!! !" I heard a voice call.

I looked over near the games to see Cassidy and her twin brother, Jeremy!

Jeremy was the complete opposite of Cassidy, he always tries his best to get his little sister out of trouble but she never listens.

"OI DUMBASS! YA HERE ME?!" I heard her call again.

I ran over to Cassidy, giving her a slight sneak attack hug.

"IT'S BEEN SO DAMN LONG GIRLY!! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?!" I asked very excited.

"She hasn't changed one bit. " Jeremy said, putting his hands in his pockets, smiling.

"And you've certainly have! BRO LOOK HOW TALL YOU'VE GOTTEN!! " I said. "I PROMISE YOU IT WAS JUST YESTERDAY YOU WERE SO SHORT!!"

We chatted for what seemed like forever! We swapped in between playing Pac-man and watching the animatronics preform. It felt so great being around them again!

But one person caught my eye...

There was this.. Boy...

He had brown, curly, fluffy hair and glasses. He had freckles on his face.. His eyes looked so shiny...

I saw him talking to the owner a lot, holding a worn out golden plush with a purple hat and bow...

Who was he anyways?
