"I doubt I'll be able to sleep." Megan said as her and Emily walked through the door of the hotel room. A moment later she let out a soft yawn which caused Emily to chuckle. "Sure you won't." The raven haired woman said as she moved to set her go bag on one of the chairs that framed the small dining table. "I bet you'll be out cold by time I get out of the shower." she continued as she unzipped her bag to pull out her pajamas. The brunette rolled her eyes as she moved to put her bag in the other chair, proceeding to follow in suit. "But on a serious note, you better sleep. I need you to be rested and on you're A-Game tomorrow, okay?" The raven haired woman said as she began moving towards the bathroom. She stopped just outside it and turned her head to look at Megan who had turned to face the bed, their eyes locking instantly. "And text Darren about dinner this week, okay?" she said before entering the bathroom, closing the door and locking it with a soft click. "Right. Dinner." The younger woman mumbled as she pulled out her phone to look over it. She had missed a few messages from Darren and some friends outside of work. Nothing emergent it seemed so she placed her phone onto the bedside table before quickly shedding the clothing she wore that day and changing into her pajamas. She looked down at the pair of shorts and slightly oversized black ACDC t-shirt she wore and mentally swore at herself. She was regretting not bringing a pair of sweatpants to wear instead of the pair of shorts. With a soft sigh, she slipped into bed and grabbed her phone once more, texting Darren that they had landed in Seattle and that everything was okay minus the murders. She contemplated for a moment to let him know that both of them had been invited over for dinner but decided against it. While she did in fact want to spend time with Emily, she would rather walk across hot coals then have to be in the same room as Andrew for dinner and god knows what the man had planned.

Emily was right. She had come out of the bathroom after about ten minutes and there Megan was, fast asleep. The older woman made her way over to the bed and lightly tugged back the sheets to see the younger woman in her usual sleep pair of shorts and some large shirt, chuckling lightly with the knowledge of how hot she would get in anything but shorts and a t-shirt before climbing into the bed. The room was mostly quiet, the only sound was the heavy breathing coming from the younger woman next to her. She pulled the sheets back over her body before shutting her eyes in an attempt to sleep. She laid there for a solid minute before she felt Megan roll over into her side. The raven haired woman's eyes popped open and she glanced down to the sleeping brunette who was clearly searching for heat. Emily couldn't help but smile lightly as she moved an arm to wrap around the other woman who made a soft mumbling sound. The raven haired woman was thankful that the brunette was fast asleep or she would have been worried that she could hear how hard and fast her heart beat in her chest. She tried to shake away the feeling she had as she watched the younger woman sleep but failed miserably. "What is it about you..."she whispered to Megan before getting comfortably situated, her eyes slipping shut a moment later.

6am came fast. Both woman's phones began to sound causing both woman to groan out in unison. "S'to early.." Megan mumbled as she rolled onto her back, her eyes blinking open to stare up at the roof. It took her a moment to realize that she had been snuggled up to Emily but when she did, she blushed and looked over at the brunette who was sitting up right. "I forgot you're not a morning person." Emily stated as she brushed some hair out of her face before looking down at the younger woman. "That's cause some of us are night owls and who wants to be awake before the sun?" Megan mumbled as she rolled onto her side, successfully turning her back to Emily. "Technically you are awake before the sun even has the chance to rise." the older woman said as she got out of the bed, moving over to her bag to grab a fresh set of clothing. "Come on Meg. We have to get going." she said as she moved over to stand before the younger woman who was clearly ready to fall back asleep. Emily sighed before yanking the sheets off of Megan who simply yelped when the cool air suddenly nipped at the bare skin that was exposed. "Don't gotta be so mean about it..." She grumbled softly as she finally leaned upright and kicking her legs over the side of the bed. "You have five minutes to get dressed or I'm dragging you out in your PJ's." Emily stated as she moved to the bathroom. "You wouldn't!" Megan called back with a slight roll of her eyes.
