Accidents Happen

Chapter 1

Taylor's P.O.V.
It was July 16th when the accident happened.
If I hadn't of pointed at that hotel, none of this would've ever happened.
-7 hours before-
"You guys have fun and be safe" my Mom said hugging Charlotte, Dylan, and I.
"I promise Ms. Bradford, I wont let them get out of control!" Charlotte said with a lighthearted voice.
Dylan and I are the ones that make stuff fun and interesting. Charlottes the goodie-goodie, thats probably why my Mom trusts her so much.
Charlotte was driving being the oldest out of the 3 of us, already having her drivers license. I have my learners permit, but neither of us is over 18.
We got in the car, and my Mom put all of our stuff in the very back while Dylan helped.
Once they were done, She came to the window and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Be safe honey" she said with a light tone. "Yes Mother, for the eleventh time today, I will!"
Charlotte turned on the car, I was in the passengers seat while Dylan was sitting in the back. We waved to my mom while pulling out of the drive way. I saw her eyes water as she slowly turned, walking back into the house.
Dylan reached over and turned on the radio by hitting the biggest button in the middle. He turned the knob where it labeled 'volume' and blared it. Charlotte was driving and wasn't able to reach over to turn it down, so she turned it down a little with the button on her steering wheel.
I signed and clicked the biggest button in the middle that turned the radio on, and turned it off.
It was a few minutes later, I was staring at the clouds through the passenger side window. Suddenly, I heard the squeaking of the window rolling down and feeling a nice, cool breeze hit my face and run through my hair.
Pulling out my phone, I clicked the camera icon, and took a few pictures of the landscape in front of us. It was beautiful, fresh cut grass, huge hills in the back, and clouds that were perfect shape. "Where are we even going?" Dylan said putting his hands on the middle console.
"We're just exploring Dylan, I think we're in Mississippi right now" Charlotte said sarcastically, looking out the window next to her while seeing the sign that says 'Welcome to Mississippi'.
