The Andromeda II was a reasesrch vessel. It wasn't even supposed to be near the newly discovered planetary nebula. In fact it was supposed to be in the Sol system, yet the Andromeda II was there. "ALL HANDS TO BATTLE STATIONS IMMEDIATELY. WE'VE GOT AN UNIDENTIFIED SPACECRAFT HEADING STRAIGHT TOWARDS US. IT WILL BE HERE IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES," screamed Admiral Wood through the comms.
