Y/n is very cozy under blankets, cuddling her pillows. Shes extremely tired from the night before when she was out until 2 am performing. *Ding...dong* Her slumber is interrupted by her doorbell. Half-asleep, she gets up. *Ding...dong* She sighs and yells "IM COMING!!" she groans and opens her front door. "Jenna-? You look nice.. Whats up?" Y/n is confused. Before Jenna responds, she realizes "I was supposed to- im so sorry. I-" Jenna cuts her off "No, its ok." Y/n sighs "Here, come in. Ill go get ready." She welcomes Jenna in, Jenna sits down on her couch and admires her apartment. Somehow y/n completely forgot about today, which she had been looking forward to all week.
Y/n walks out of her room. Jenna looks her up and down, she smiles "You look great." Y/n blushes at the compliment.
They both get into Jennas car and drive off. "So where are we going?" Y/n asks curiously. Jenna smiles "Its a suprise" She groans. Y/n sits up in her seat, and looks over at Jenna "Hey i was wondering, uh.. Do you maybe wanna go trick or treating with me, liz, marcus, and ash?" Jenna thinks for a moment, but before she can say something y/n blurts out "You dont have to though, i know trick or treating is boring-" Jenna cuts her off "No, no, ill go. It will be fun." She smiles. "We were gonna do a group costume, i was thinking you could be daphne, i could be velma, marcus be fred, asher be shaggy, and liz as scooby." Jenna nods "Ok, im cool with that." Y/n smiles. "We were gonna meet over at my place at 7." Jenna nods "Ok, ill be there." They then park the car. "Are we here?" Y/n asks. Jenna nods and they both get out. Y/n walks over to Jenna, who is behind the car. "So.. where are we?" Y/n asks. Jenna giggles "Did you not read the sign?" Y/n turns around and looks at the building. She notices its the movie theater. Y/n turns back to Jenna "The movies?" Jenna smiles "Not just any movie.." Y/n looks at her confused. Jenna then grabs her hand "Come on!!" She pulls y/n and they run together over to the entrance.
"Do you have a reservation?" The worker behind the counter asks Jenna. Jenna nods "For Jenna Ortega, at 3:15." The worker looks down and the computer and nods "Yep, i see it." Jenna smiles. "Here are those tickets" The worker hands Jenna the two tickets. They both walk over to the snack counter, y/n grabs the tickets out of Jennas hands. "What are we watchin?" She asks. Jenna smiles, y/n reads the ticket. Her eyes light up and she smiles "Jennaaa. Really??" Jenna nods and giggles a bit.
They walk over to the entrance of the theaters. Jenna hands the worker their tickets. "Ooh Terrifier 2? That movies scary." They say. Jenna nods. Y/n smiles happily, because nobody else wanted to ever watch it with her. It was to scary for anyone else. The worker scans the tickets and hands them back "Have fun!" The two girls walk over to the theater. Jenna smiles and holds open the door for y/n. "What?" She asks. Jenna giggles a bit "Nothingg" Y/n shrugs and walks into the theater. "Where are our seat-" Y/n cuts herself off and looks around "Where is everyone..?" She asks confused. Jenna giggles "I may have rented out the entire theater.." Y/ns eyes widen "Jenna!! Really??" She nods.
The first scary part in the movie comes up, making them both scream. They both grab onto eachother, as a reaction to the scare. They huddle up next to eachother as they scream. They both realize they are basically cuddling, but dont say or do anything.
They walk out of the theater together, and towards the entrance. "Thanks for taking me today." Y/n says. Jenna smiles and nods "I know you really wanted to see it." Y/n smiles. Something then catches Jennas eye, before they reach the exit. Jenna giggles and takes y/ns hand. She pulls her over to a photobooth. Jenna looks at y/n and smiles. Y/n giggles "Okayy". They sit in the booth and take photos together. Jenna kisses y/ns cheek for one of the photos, making her blush. They finish taking the photos, and leave.
Y/n sits down on her bed and takes off her shoes. She sets her coat on the floor and opens instagram, she scrolls through people storys and stumbles onto Jennas.
