"You mind if we make a quick stop on the way?"
I ask Nahmari.

"Yeah that's fine." She says quietly.

She seemed nervous I wonder why, maybe its because she barely knew me but we talked at the club that night when she came back to the booth. But I did most of the talking she didn't seem to like me for some reason.

I was trying not to trip about it she's not the first and won't be the last person that doesn't like me. But it was weird because I had no idea what I did.

I wanted to set things right with her, she was apart of out friend group now. And not gonna lie she was a pretty girl I was kinda feeling her. Something about her seemed familiar like I met her before.

I park the car in front of a old run down house in the middle of a form of the projects there were kids outside riding bikes the others down the block playing basketball.

people were outside on their porches some smoking weed some just observing the neighborhood. Nahmari looks over at me in confusion and I smile, she has no idea what's going on.

"I gotta go handle some business real quick, stay in the car."

"What are you doing?" She asks in a hurry.

"Don't worry about it," I smile.

"Are you selling drugs?" Her facial expression turned into disgust or hatred one of those.

"I don't know am I?" I ask mockingly getting out the car before she could ask anything else.

I knock at the door and exchange greetings with my customer in a form of a hand shake. Trading off my product and money at the same time.

"Thanks dre I'll fuck with you next week."

"Ight bet." I nod leaving and get back in the car.

Nahmari looked like she wanted to cry which was weird.

"So this is your job, you give drugs to people that are already suffering?" She says with an attitude.

"Oh you mean making money to support my family?" I snap back not in the mood, she was acting stuck up like she never suffered a day in her life. And judging by her attitude she probably hasn't.

"I'm sorry but don't you think what you're doing is just a tad bit messed up."

"No, I'm just another statistic in a society that doesn't care about me, I got to do whatever it takes to get by."

"There's other ways to do that, I mean it's not that hard." She says and I scoff, how clueless could she be?

"You don't understand anything." I shake my head.

"I understand enough to know that your life can't be that hard to the point you have to sell dope."

"You don't know shit about me Nahmari!" I snap raising my voice.

She goes quiet frightened from my voice, shes probably the type of girl that's always been sheltered to the point that she'll never understand how the real world works.

"Stop the car." She whispers.

"What?"

"Stop the car!" She yells
