~Briar Campbell~
My alarm blares. I stretch my arms, making shadows on the wall from the morning sunrise. I sigh happily dragging it out and yawning. A knock at my bedroom door startles me, "Come in."

My brother opens the door and I see his angry morning face. "What is it Thomas?" My four year old brother waddles in still in his pyjamas. "Bri can I come snuggle?" He looks shyly at the ground still pouting.

"Of course you can Teddy," I giggle at the nickname and watch as he skips over the hardwood floor and I help him to the bed because of its height.

We fall asleep again in the morning sun snuggled up together, Thomas still holding his stuffed elephant

My father and me walk into James Campbells study as asked and we stand behind the chairs placed carefully in his study. "Please, sit." He mentions to the chairs before us and we shift our positions to sit on them.

My father passes over a large suitcase filled to the brim with money. "What you asked for. Everything is in there." My father, of course was getting something out of the jobs Sr. Campbell gave us. The last job we were put on was to secure a package we had been talking about for a long time.

We go over the deal and his assistant checks over the case for fakes. We are leaving his office when a gorgeous girl ascends down their large staircase.

She's still in her pyjamas but still looks ready for a formal ball in her night dress and her blond hair looks freshly styled. Her eyes focus on mine and I shy away at the eye contact. "Daddy, you could have told me we had guests and I would have gotten dressed!" She whisper yells at Sr. Campbell, flustered.

"I'm sorry Mia cara. They were just leaving" He smiles back.
She finishes the long stair case and rounds the corner out if sight. Her night dress flowing behind her.
