Ayanokouji Kiyotaka
"Then shoot, but keep in mind shooting me in the leg won't stop me. Even then those aren't real bullets are they?"
"Mm..." Nishikigi's hold on the gun shook and Majima interjected.
"Wow a lover quarrel, he sure knows you— Ghk!"
"You shut up. Know your position."
I punched Majima in the throat to keep him quiet for awhile. Chisato's hands shook as she kept the gun pointed at me.
"A-Ayanokoji... were you just using us from the start?" Her voice was shaking as she spoke.
"I wonder, what do you think Nishikigi?"
She dropped her gun and I used the opportunity to strangle Majima. With the technique I used he will die within thirty seconds.
However truth be told at some point despite my using them, I wanted to use Chisato as a textbook as well. Someone who lacks emotion and someone who is full of them, surely she could teach me. Potentially even love, however this situation doesn't allow for that.
As I got lost in my thoughts I noticed Majima had gone limp at some point. He was deceased. I looked back at the blonde on the ground with tears in her eyes. She looked like she wanted to lunge forward but couldn't bring herself to do it.
"Nishikigi."
"..."
"Chisato."
"...What do you want now?"
"You're free to hate me if you wish. In fact I probably do deserve it, however for my freedom I had no choice."
"Freedom? What does that even mean? How could killing someone bring something like that bring any kind of freedom."
"You're the ace of the Lycoris. So I assume you've atleast heard of the White Room right?"
Her face was confused until it morphed to one of fear and unease. Her tears have subsided by now aswell.
"W-wait... do you mean that you're from that place? It explains your lack of emotion but this is a lot at once!"
"I am, Majima's death secured my freedom from that place. It's natural this is a lot at once, but I figured you needed that much atleast."
"That's true... but. Did you really fake everything, all of it and every second? How could you..."
"I won't say everything was a lie. At some point I did have a genuine interest in Chisato Nishikigi if nothing else. But that place took a lot from me and made me a cold machine. So while some was some wasn't."
"Ayanokoji..."
"So I'm sorry, I understand if you want nothing to do with me anymore."
"Wait! I didn't say that much, I won't be able to truly accept what you did to him though. Killing is wrong, I'm lucky to even be alive so I want to save and help people. I do recognize that you made the right choice but that doesn't mean I accept it either."
"..."
"I think atleast, that I do still want to be friends and maybe even help you. Teaching you lots of things like right from wrong and simple mundane things. But no more killing you need to promise that much atleast."
It seemed she wouldn't compromise on this. But this is the desired result regardless so it doesn't matter.
"Then I promise. So teach me a lot Chisato."
"I will! So let's get along Kiyotaka. But... don't do any more bad things alright?"
"I'll see to it that I don't."
This had gone according to plan.

After a week had passed and Majima had been cremated I now have my freedom. I don't really know what to do, I've been sitting in an apartment for the last few days not knowing.
At some point a blonde Lycoris had come to visit here and there whether it be to hang out or ask questions for over an hour.
Yet still I feel nothing for the girl, it's a shame but not unexpected. I had achieved freedom but I don't know what I want to do with it, a strange thing indeed.
After a bit of thinking I had decided to go on a walk to take a closer look at my new surroundings. There was still I didn't know about from being locked away for over half of my life so it will take awhile. But I don't mind right now.
"...Ice cream. I guess I'll try this to start with."
I walked up to the cart that had been selling the sweet treat known as ice cream. I didn't really know much about it so I chose the basic flavor vanilla.
Despite the many times I had gone to that café where they sold this I always declined trying it for an actual meal. When I took a bite from the frozen treat on the cone my mouth was instantly freezing and my teeth were very agitated.
"Oh. I guess you don't just bite it then..."
I stood near the cart to try it in case I'd want more but now I'm not sure if I like it. Just to be sure I licked it instead and it was sweet.
"Mm... it's cold as expected."
I continued to lick it a few times before deciding I do actually like ice cream. As I went to lick it again I felt a presence staring into my back, they have been for awhile.
I turned to find who it was and it was that familiar Lycoris with her friend sat in a café.
