"What did I trip on?" you said as you are cleaning up a spilled tray of food. You had been working as a waitress for about a couple months now to pay off your debt. Besides, it was your only option since you had no experience and every other job you applied for rejected you on the spot. Your boyfriend Tartaglia had just left you for something about work and you felt like you couldn't do long distance. At work there is a coworker named Lumine and she didn't like you too much no matter how nice you were. You felt like you couldn't win in life.
After work you decided to stop into a store you often visit. You grabbed some snacks to eat tonight while watching F/S. As you go to check out you bump into someone, When you turn to apologize to the person you see a boy that has dark green with teal highlights and wearing a white shirt with a jean jacket. "I'm so sorry" you said to the guy. He turned around and gave a look that could probably kill. You silently tried to walk away when he grabbed your shoulder. "I'm sorry for giving you that look, I'm just tired, but that's not an excuse, I'm Xiao by the way" he says with a somewhat upset face. "We all have bad days once in a while, I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you " you said trying to reassure him.
he turned away and said "I should probably go now". that's all you got before he walked away. you thought it was weird he had to leave all of a sudden but you continued on with getting your snacks. when you finally get home from the store, you hop on the couch and just lay there for a little bit before you have to get a shower. all of a sudden you start thinking about xiao and how strange he acted. you brushed it off after getting up to go take a shower, but when you stood up from your couch, you get a strange feeling like someone is watching which is a little creepy. all of a sudden lumine pops out from the corner. "lumine how did you get in my house" you said scared. lumine puts a hug smirk on her face "you have a terrible spot for hiding a spare key".
