After finishing the troubles in Sumeru, the team headed to Liyue harbor to get some of Winter's medicine that has recently finished at bubu's pharmacy. On the way there, a portal opened up suddenly and with no time to react, strings came out of it. Wrapping around Winter, Sakura, Aster and Y/n. Leaving the twins and Paimon.

The strings were in colour as to correspond who to capture. Purple for Winter, minty green for Sakura, Light blue for Aster and F/C[ favorite color] for Y/n. Each of them were pulled in and after all of its hostages came in, the portal disappeared.

The twins and Paimon panicked and went to Liyue harbor to get some help. "What do we do?! Who do we ask?!" Paimon asked questions that the twins didn't even know the answer to. Suddenly, in the corner of Lumine's eyes, she saw Zhongli.

"..Do you think Zhongli could help?" Lumine asked. "I mean..he is pretty knowledgeable.It shouldn't hurt to try..?" Aether replied,although his answer sounded more like a question.

They walked towards Zhongli who was currently sitting on a table drinking a cup of tea. Oddly enough,he was the only person there.

"Ah,it's you three," Zhongli greeted them,putting down his cup. "It's been awhile since I've seen you in Liyue." The twins would have loved to talk about their day, but right now it just wasn't the right time.

Paimon was quick to explain the situation, "Zhongli, you gotta help us!Winter, Aster, Y/n and Sakura got taken away by a weird portal and we don't know what to do and-"

"..Slow down.Try taking a deep breath first and calm down," Zhongli spoke, not understanding a word Paimon said because she was speaking too fast.

Eventually Paimon calmed down and explained the situation while also forgetting to mention Winter.

"A portal you say..? And you saw strings coming out of it?" Zhongli was very confused. He's heard of portals before, but..

"Why, this is a surprise!" Turning towards the sound of the voice, they turned to see the familiar face of Childe.

Seeing him, Paimon's eyes widened, "Childe?! What are you doing here!?" Childe only smiled calmly at Paimon's response, saying that he was only walking around. " Childe, do you know anything about portals with strings coming out of it?"

Lumine asked in which it made him confused and said no. " Paimon hopes that Y/n, Aster, Winter and Sakura are okay.. " When mentioning Winter's name, it made Zhongli choke on his tea and Childe looked at the floating fairy, shocked and disbelief.

" What? " Childe says as the twins and Paimon looked at each other, forgetting that they didn't tell them about Winter being alive. " Hehehehe.... Here's the thing... "

After explaining about Winter being alive, both of the two men were unsure about the information that they have just received but trusted them. Agreeing to help, they went out to find the same portal that took their friends.

As they came back to the place where the others had been taken, the guys found Xiao, holding something in his hand. In closer inspection, it was a F/c string. Glowing a tad bit, as if it was dying.
