Alexander pulls the collar of his navy blue uniform close to his neck. Slightly above his collarbone was decorated with deep magenta spots.
"Dammit Sawyer" he mumbles to himself as he walks towards his home.
He takes out his house key and opens the oak wood door. The boy walks in only to be greeted by a woman in her mid forties and curly black hair in a messy bun. She was wearing a baby blue apron. Although she was aged, her complexion was still like a doll except the small wrinkles formed at the edges of her eyes. Florencia Hendrick stopped what she was doing and gave a look of concern as she saw her son awkwardly walk in.
"Mijo? Why are you walking like that?"
Alex's eyes widened as he stopped walking to look at his mother. He tries to muster a serious face.
"I just ran on my way here ma..... sheesh"
His face reddened as he rapidly walked out of the room and the woman continued washing the dishes.
*Time skip to Monday morning*
The large lunchroom was filled with a great variety of students. Everyone was either eating or hanging out. Chatter filled the room and only the sound of rumors being passed, laughter, and homework discussions were heard. That is, until two boys walked in. Hand in hand, Alexander and Sawyer made it obvious that they were together as they walked into the now silent room. Sawyer's hand felt warm in his. Alexander could feel the blush rising to his cheeks.
"Damn! Get some!" A girl with glasses and light brown hair in a ponytail exclaimed.
Her black haired friend wolf whistled and shouted, "Ship!" As she clasped her hands together.
Some gave looks of approval and others of disgust. But then again they didn't care. They were finally together and nothing was going to stop them.
