"Valentine! Valentine, wake up!"
I quickly stood up from my seat and rubbed my eyes. I looked out the window to see cars, buildings and traffic lights all around. We must be here.
"Had a good sleep?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah. It was okay." I said with a small smile. "Are we already here in San Francisco?"
"Yes!" Daniel's mom yelled out of nowhere. "But we need a few more minutes until we get to the auditions."
I sighed of exhaust. We drove for hours to get here from Vancouver, no wonder Daniel's parents told me to get up early. We left at 5:45 early in the morning, and its like 8:30 right now. We drove for 4 darn hours! I had to fall asleep since I knew this was going to be a long trip. I felt exhausted but I didn't care. I was here for my Danny anyway.
"Hey Valentine?" Daniel asked.
"Uh yeah?" I asked, escaping my thoughts.
"You hungry? We're about to get some food."
"Uh sure. I feel kinda hungry already."
We drove to In-N-Out since Danny really wanted it. Me and Daniel ate a lot of food and I already knew that Daniel ate the most. He actually even ordered a lot of fries but he wasn't even able to finish half of it so I had to help him. And that's how I ended up being so full and not even being able to stand up and walk to the car. They all had to help me get out of the place and walk me out. Oh how Danny feeds me. *sighs*
"Thanks for making my stomach turn into a balloon, Danny." I sarcastically said.
"No problem, babe! Always loved to help." Idiot.
"Oh wait, there's a bug on your shirt! Here, let me help you with that."
I then reached out to him and slapped him like there was no tomorrow. He started to slap me too, then it all turned up into a slap fight. We didn't even want to stop.
"You guys look so cute together!" Daniel's dad said, looking through his mirror.
"I'm glad you guys made up." Daniel's mom said as she took a photo. Wait what?!
"Mom!" Daniel whined like a little kid. I didn't do anything but giggle at his adorableness.
After another hour of listening to the radio, talking about random things and stuff, we finally arrived.
"Alright. We're here!" Daniel's mom said as she got out the car.
"Finally! I could get out!" I yelled as I let my butt out this vehicle. Daniel couldn't help but laugh. He also went out followed by his dad. We walked to the building and we lined up at the registration counter.
"You ready, Danny?" I asked him.
"I'm ready for anything." He said.
"Good luck, babe." I said as I kissed his cheek.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Hey Daniel, we're next." Daniel's mom warned him.
We walked up to the counter and greeted the people there.
"Okay, so what's your name?" The girl in the counter asked.
"Daniel Seavey."
"How old are you?"
"15."
"Where are you from?"
"Vancouver, Washington."
"And your occupation?"
"I'm a student."
