Chap. 2 (So we meet again)

Staying unrecognized by the media was something Hee-Jin thought wouldn't be a problem but she was wrong. As she stepped out of the house to meet Won-young, she stops in her tracks. The paparazzi stood there taking photos of them. The confusion in Won-young's eyes made the situation harder for her to process. How could she not expect this? Won-young grabbed her hand and led her to the car with bodyguards following them.
Finally, she was away from all the comotion outside but she knew that she'd be seeing more of that.

Won-young:" Hee-Jin, are you ok? I know you're not used to this much attention but that's how it is. "

Hee-Jin doesn't speak. She just stares out the window. All her life her mom did have money, but never the attention. She was living her life as a normal girl until her dad ruined it. But all that is in the past right now and there was nothing that could be done about it. A journey that felt like hours had finally come to an end. The girls arrived in one of the biggest restaurants in Seoul, Café Koreana. Hee-Jin braced herself for what she knew she would meet. As she stepped out of the car, camera's clicked, reporters pushed each other to ask questions, it was to much for her to handle. Her biggest problem now was the low profile she had always tried to keep at school was busted. Won-young stepped out and smiled to the crowd, posing for every clicking camera.

The two friends finally made it into the restaurant. Hee-Jin could feel eyes on her and whispers everywhere, she even heard a lady speaking to a man loud enough to hear. " That is the daughter of the richest man in Korea and 4th richest in the world, don't you think we could make money if we asked to work for her?... No pun intended though " they laughed as if they had nothing to worry about. Angered by what was said, she turned around and walked to their table. Holding a glass of water, she spilled it on the woman's head soaking her clothes.

Hee-Jin:" that is to tell you that we do not employ comedians. My dad is wise enough pass by you even if he's seen your university records. " and with that said she walked away.

Won-young:" That. Was. Amazing. Since when did you become so fierce? "

Hee-Jin:" Since I met you. Anyways let's forget about that and talk. How's Kai doing? " there was a brief moment of silence between them, but she finally answered.

Won-young:" H-he's fine, it's just that the entire family has lost contact with him. Bahiyyih was broken when she found out, I tried everything I could to help but she's grown cold Hee-Jin".

*sob*

Hee-Jin looked at Won-young. Her friend had gone through a lot of hate throughout her career but she never gave up. She took a tissue and wiped Won-young's face.

Hee-Jin:" I'm here for you, just tell me when you need anything. For now, let's clear the depressing mood and get something eat because I'm STARVING! In caps. " The two smiled at each other. Hee-Jin called a waiter and waited for their order. " I'll just go to the washroom, wait for me ok? " Won-young nodded and she left.

Hee-Jin was on her way to the ladies room when she bumped into someone.

Hee-Jin:" Hey! Can't you watch where yo-" her heart skipped a beat when she looked up. Standing right in front of her was the person she was trying to avoid. She wanted the ground to just suck her in, but it was firm and just a simple imagination. They both looked at each other for what felt like an eternity and finally Taehyung broke the silence.

Tae:" I'm sorry. And I'm guessing you should also know how to say thank you and sorry. Because I remember that I never got a thank you when I helped "

She couldn't bring the words out of her mouth. His deep voice only made things harder for her. Taking a deep breath in and out, she finally said;

Hee-Jin:" I- I'm sorry. And thank you for helping me".They both held eye contact and Taehyung still looking into her eyes said; " You're most welcome and please don't be intimidated by me and I'm also sorry if I'm scaring you" He walked away without waiting for a reply. She stood rooted to the ground trying to control her pacing heart. And finally said to herself; " I don't like him, I don't ".
