I mentioned him in the first chapter, and I'll explain here.
Bean is one of the people we worship as a god. He is also our counselor, although we have no need for him because we are all normal and not suicidal. That is not a lie. We have no need for him. That is not a lie, I would never lie to you. After all, immortal until proven mortal. Of course we have one other person (that I know of) that we worship as a god, but that's another chapter.
