It was a cold and snowy night on Christmas Eve in Gotham City.

The whole city was covered in a white coat of snow.

While the snow continues to paint the city white, we go to brick colored stately Wayne Manor. Home of Millionaire Bruce Wayne and his youthful ward Dick Grayson.

They were just wrapping up a show with all of their friends.

"Well, everyone, that's our show. Thanks for spending Christmas Eve at Wayne Manor" Bruce announced.

"Here's wishing everybody a merry Christmas and a safe trip ho-ho-home!" said Dick.

The two men went backstage where their friends were managing the equipment.

"Holy standing ovation, what a great show!" said Dick.

"Sure was, Dick. And now we can all celebrate our own Christmas at home" said Calvin O'Keeffe.

"But we can't go home!" said Sam Pan.

"Why not?" said Bruce.

"We're snowed in" said Meg Murry-Stuart.

"Well, this is a fine predicament" said her brother, Charles Wallace Murry.

"Why, kids, it can't be that bad" said Bruce.

He looked out the window and saw the snow had practically blocked all three entrances to Wayne Manor.

"Holy claustrophobia! It is that bad!" said Dick.

"Oh dear! What do we do now?" said Barbara Gordon.

"Rest at ease, Miss Gordon. Mr Wayne will think of something" said Bruce's butler Alfred.

"I've thought of something! Let's have our own Christmas party right here in Wayne Manor" said Bruce.

"That's a great idea, Bruce!" said Meg.

"Ah, humbug" said Dick's Aunt Harriet.

"Humbug? What's the matter, Aunt Harriet?" said Bruce.

"Once again, she just doesn't have the Christmas spirit" said Dick.

"We'll see about that" said Bruce.

The party commenced as Sam served the guests.

"Hot cocoa and cookies coming through" she said.

"Now this party is really starting to warm up" said Bruce.

"Oh, Bruce! Look what I found" said Barbara.

"Great find, Barbara! A box of our all-time favorite Christmas stories" said Bruce.

"Humbug!" said Aunt Harriet.

"Come on, Aunt Harriet. This'll get you into the spirit of the season" said Calvin.

"Yeah! It's a story about the Beatles!" said Charles Wallace.
