                      Narrator POV

As you board the ship with your lover by your side you can't help but smile. He has come so far from when you first met that night in your shop. As you recall this memory you aren't paying enough attention to realized that Portia is about to confess her feelings to Nadia. *A/N: THIS IS CANNON* Julian tugs on your sleeve to get you attention because he knows what's about to go down.
"Pay attention" he mumbled
You nod in response
The two of you watch as Portia takes Nadia by her hand and asks her to go on a date when she gets back. After a second of silence (which felt like an eternity) Nadia embraces Portia in a hug, The countess answer was yes.

As everyone is finishing up their goodbyes Mazelinka calls from the ship in her usual playful tone. "Hurry up ya whippersnappers".

You,Julian and Portia all board the ship. Giving the circumstances that you and Julian are together you guys share a small room on the ship. After you set up the room together you lay on the bed to relax, Julian is laying not even an inch away from you. You gently intertwine your hand with his.
"I'm really proud of you Julian."
You saying this seemed to catch him off guard
"Proud of me? For what?" He asked,he sounded so confused.
"You've gotten better, you're starting to accept help,accepting that people care about you. You've taken everything we have been through together very well"
Julian isn't used to people being this kind to him.
"It's all because of you,you helped me." He said with a smile.

Julians smile, it's so pretty. You get to see it at least once a day,even on days Julian isn't doing so well he still can't help but smile a little when you're around.

You lay by his side,silent.but this silence isn't awkward or uncomfortable, it's warm and comforting. Even without saying a word you both enjoy each other's company.his company makes you happy,your company makes him happy.

Julian rests his head on your chest and snuggles up to you, he does this every night. Just like every other night you've spent like this,Julian falls asleep within a few minutes. It always bewilders you how he falls asleep so fast with you but never sleeps any other time. But the more you think about it the more you understand it. He feels safe and lets his guard down around you, but any other time he can't relax as much.

Soon you have joined Julian in sleep. But In the middle of the night you are both awoken by screeching and chirping. It's Malak, he seems to be alerted by something in the corner of the room.
"Mn?Malak? What is it?" You say sitting up to grab the lantern from your bedside. You calmly and cautiously walk over to see what it is. It's Pepi, she must have accidentally got trapped in the room throughout the night. You let Pepi out of the room and lay back beside Julian.
