Forbidden love

Chapter Two

I have hated dogs ever since I could remember, they are annoying, attention seekers and too hyperactive for my liking, like seriously, a dog will chew through your things just for you to spend hours lecturing them and those puppy eyes they make, ugh, so disgusting, they are the complete definition of drama queens, apart from them being loyal creatures, they can be a handful.
I decided to give Sarah the cold shoulder since she decided to take in a stray without my consent, but that hybrid was making it very difficult to do so. He would constantly whine to Sarah for attention and she being weak hearted as she is will attend to him, even her brother who I despise will pet him once in a while, I don't blame him actually he seems like the kind of person to get such a dog.
Max is mix breed dog half wolf and half dog but it seems his wolf side was more dominant than his dog side, if you weren't to look closely you would think he's a wolf.
" Okay, now I'll be late home today so you two be good and don't cause any trouble." Sarah said picking up her bag, she ruffed Max's fur and turned to me.
" Tiger...i love you." she tried to pet me but I looked away, I heard her sigh dejectedly.
"Be a good boy Max." she said giving him a peck on his head.
I snorted as she left, the room grew quiet after Sarah left.
" Tiger when will Sarah come home?" I heard Max ask.
I snared "How am I supposed to know?"
I got off the bed and went to sit by the window sill starting outside, fifteen minutes hadn't passed when I noticed Max staring at me.
" What?" I asked.
"...Can we play together Tiger?"
Omg is that all this dog ever thinks about.
I turn into my human form and looked at him.
" And what on earth makes you think I will play with you?" I asked.
"Oh it's because we are friends." Max said cheerfully.
I gave a dry laugh and looked at him from the corner of my eye I felt my pupils shrink dangerously.
" You are not my friend Max, you are nothing but an annoying pest in my home and I will stop at nothing to get you out." I growled.
Max ears dropped as I hissed at him, he backed away scared and I scoffed.
" You are so damn weak, maybe if you became a little stronger I would consider playing with you.
Months had passed and my attempts to get Max out if the house were epic failures, i am not to surprised whenever I cause trouble when Max is there the maids always seem to come clean it up before anyone see it.
Now I have my peace and quiet.
Sarah had vacated from school and her best friend Divine had come to take her for a trip to Korea. Those two are an unbreakable force I assure you, if you were to kidnap the two of them to get you will might as well dig your grave because they never shut up.
Divine had a pet fox named Kai, he was an exotic rare creature and my guess is he's from a long line of fox spirit, friendly creatures those fox are and sneaky too.
Kai and I established our friendship from the day we met, unlike me he's found his mate, Divine.
It's not weird at all to find out your owner is your mate, it reduces the burden of you having to leave them to be with your faithful partner. They being our mate doesn't necessarily mean we have to have babies with them, no some just stay by their side until the die while others well you can say the love runs deep.
I was sitting under a tree when I heard a rustle in the bushes.
" You are going to get into trouble if you get your fur dirty Kai." I said turning my head to look at his pair of red eyes, he poked his head out and smiled.
" I thought you would ignore me since you are mad at me for not coming to visit you earlier." he said sitting next to me.
" I am but if you get dirty they will have to bath you and will have to join and you know I hate water."
" Haha, you are as sentimental as how I first met you Morticia, by the way I heard you have a dog in your household that sounds fun."
" oh please, he's as annoying as Sarah is always coming to me when they need comfort."
"Well that's what you are supposed to do, I mean you are a pet." Kai pointed out.
I looked at him and sigh
"At least these few months have been peaceful. " I said letting the sun bathe me.
"Hmm, it's just a shame that I've already found my mate if not the two of us would have had some fun together."
" Don't push it Kai I have claws and I'm not afraid to scratch that pretty face of yours." I warned as Kai leaned close to me, we could feel each others breath and our lips we just inches away from each other, when suddenly I noticed Kai wasn't in front of me again. I turned to see he was tackled down by a large dog? Kai tried to fight back but he was pushed down and it snared at him threatening to bite his neck, I rushed forward and was about to attack when I caught a glimpse of it's golden eyes.
"Max?"
The dog turned away from Kai and looked at me it had stopped growling and looked at me, Kai took the opportunity to kick him off and he growled baring his fangs and claws at him, the dog regained his footing and growled at him, they were about to fight when I heard Sarah calling me, I quickly transformed back into a cat and Sarah came running with Divine behind her.
"Tiger!" she exclaimed picking me up, she hugged me tightly and I had to hit her to let me go.
Kai and the dog hadn't stopped growling at each other and Divine had to pick him up.
" Your wolf is very sensitive Sarah." Divine said stroking Kai to calm him down.
" I guess he didn't like the fact that your fox was all over my cat." she replied.
Divine smiled and started baby talking to Kai as she and Sarah walked away, Sarah had placed me down and left me alone with that big wolf who was probably glaring at me from behind since I could fell his glare.
I turn back into a human and looked at him, he was sit down and look at me with eager attention.
" Max?"
I noticed his tail wagging joyfully and before I knew it a tall handsome man with long black and brown hair with amazing golden eyes stood in front of me. He took a step closer to me and brushed strands of my hair behind my ear.
" I'm home... Morticia."
