First things first: This is not a traditional story. It was written entirely on Twitter (@KeelArgarast), in the form of several dozen up-to-but-not-exceeding 140-character tweets. As such, it is not going to read like a traditional story - please keep this in mind. I have chosen to preserve the structure of the original tweets by putting paragraph breaks between them. Each new chapter denotes a time jump in the narrative (I had scheduled certain tweets to correspond with specific times of the day - dawn, dusk, noon, etc. - and this is the best way I can mimic that here.)
As far as where this piece of TwitterFiction fits in the Blood Magic Saga universe - it takes place during Part One of RULER. You could even consider it Keel's side of the story, especially since utilizing social media technology made the whole thing somewhat intimate and confessional in nature (not that I believe Keel would actually spill his guts to a bunch of humans, but, you know, artistic license).
Lastly, the @KeelArgarast Twitter account still exists. Right at this moment I'm in the middle of writing this story (in case you want to read along in real time). I may also use the account again in the future, who knows? If people tweet at it, however, Keel will definitely respond. Why? Well, why not?
