The Beginning - Chapter 1

Hello, my name is Crow. I am a genin ninja. I'm usually always top of my class and also part of many clans. You may ask what clans are. Well, clans are groups of shinobi families that share a unique technique or a Kekkei Genkai (a special power passed down throughout the family). The reason I say many clans and can't name them all is that I have never met my parents, my mom passed away in the 2nd great ninja war and the only thing I know about her is that she was pretty strong in terms of power. I know a little more about my dad since everyone talks about him and calls him the "black fang" of the hidden leaf even though they never told me his real name which I thought was weird.

I live by myself in an apartment that is rented for free which I thought was kind of cool and I have many friends. I always had a suspicion that I was somewhat part of this clan called the Uchiha clan since I have a special eye which is a Kekkai Genkai and is only obtained through being part of that bloodline, but there is something weird about it I ONLY HAVE IT IN MY RIGHT EYE which is weird since my friends that are actually from the Uchiha clan have this special eye on both eyes. That is also another reason why I think I am from multiple clans/bloodlines. The specific eye I have is called the Sharingan and has many cool abilities such as copying other people's moves in an instant, increasing in speed, and more. This eye also has many different stages such as 1 tomoe Sharingan, 2 tomoe Sharingan, 3 tomoe Sharingan, and the Mangekyou Sharingan which is the last stage and has many powerful abilities which vary from the user.

(The reason Crow has his hotel room rent-free is all because of the Hokage, The Hokage's name is Hiruzen. He is a young dude around 24 and a very skilled shinobi. Hokage Hiruzen felt sorry for the loss of Crow's parents and decided to help him by at least giving him a home). Lately, I have been preparing for the chunin exam since it is in about 2 weeks from now. There are ninja rankings that go from genin, chunin, jounin, Anbu black ops, and Hokage. I am pretty confident that I'm going to pass the chunin exam because I have always been top of my class, but there is one issue, in this exam genin ninjas from all villages are going to be there competing so they could become chunin as well and I have no idea how powerful they are.

(2 weeks Later) After all that training, now it is time for the exam. In the exam, there were 3 parts which were the written part, the Jungle Scrolls part, and the 1v1 part. In the written part you have to solve a series of questions on which you would be timed, but since they didn't say you can't use your abilities I used my eye to swiftly copy from someone else's sheet and pass with ease. After waiting for some people to finish and some people to get disqualified we moved on to the Jungle scroll part. In the jungle scroll part, each team will get a scroll and you will have to fight other teams to take their scrolls, the top 5 teams with the most scrolls will move on to the final part which is the 1v1 part. My team was made up of Me (crow), Lynn (which is our healer), and Tobi (which was our goofball teammate). Our team had very good chemistry which made it pretty easy for us to take out other teams and be top 5.

Now moving on to the final part which is the 1v1 section of the exam, this section is exactly what it sounds like they put you up against someone your skill level, and yall fight until someone taps out or until someone can't go anymore ( you don't exactly have to win to pass this part of the exam, the judges just want to see what you have). When it finally came my turn they put me up against this person called Demi and his power was to manipulate sand to his desire.

It was a pretty challenging fight until I found his weakness which was the speed which then made it a lot easier to take him out. After I waited for every team to finish their 1v1s (which were entertaining to watch) we left the 1v1 section and went back to our home. The judges informed everyone that it would take about 1 week for the results of the exam and if you passed the test or not. While I waited for my exam results I hung out with my friends and goofed around as a form of celebration. After I was done celebrating I started training because I still needed to stay in shape and practice. After a week of waiting, partying, and training I finally got my note. I was kind of nervous but mostly confident I will become a chunin. But I had class for the rest of the week so I started to take my mind off the note and focus on school work. For the whole semester, I was doing mostly well but just because I had the chunin exam didn't mean I would stop doing what I was doing so I decided to also study for the rest of the day.

At school the next day everyone was talking about the exams. Everyone that won was being praised (including me) and everyone that lost was being made fun of which I didn't like to see. Since I was the most popular kid in school I demanded that it to stop. Most of them stopped and for the ones that kept making fun of the kids that lost I just simply put them in a small genjutsu to make them think they were invisible, I know it was immature but I have to admit it was funny. After school was over I headed home.
