The Traitor - Chapter 7

But I knew this was my chance, I quickly activated my 3 tomoe Sharingan and could see exactly where he was. I quickly circulated all my chakra to the palm of my hand to create the Rasengan (The Rasengan is a spinning ball of chakra formed and held in the palm of the user's hand) and rushed towards the water to where Kisame was standing, as soon as he saw me pop out of the water I used the Rasengan to hit him right in the stomach resulting in him being pushed to the ground with steam coming out of where the Rasengan had impacted. Lynn and Tobi quickly rushed over after what just happened and asked what had happened, after I had told them what had happened we called for backup to retrieve the body from the scene.

After we all got back to the village I got slapped in the cheek by Orochimaru.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!" He said trying to seem mad, but deep down I knew he was relieved to see that I was not harmed as much.

"Commander Dazno needs to speak with you" Orochimaru informed me

"Alright I will head down to his office" I responded

When I got down to the Anbu hideout and walked to his office Commander Danzo greeted me and asked me to sit down.

"You and your team were really impressive down there fighting an Akatsuki member" Commander Dazno said

"What do you mean down there? Was this set up?" I responded

"Well yea kind off, I knew Kisame was going to come to our direction today, and to test out how powerful yall are we assigned the mission at the same time Kisame would head our way." He said

" You know we could have died down there! What were you thinking!" I angrily responded

"COME DOWN YOU BRAT" he responded moments before I busted from his office and left the hideout. It was very unusual for him to act like that. I quickly brushed it off and thought maybe he was in a bad mood. But no, how did he know Kisame was going to head our way? How did he know Kisame's name? What if he is a shinobi spy? I didn't want to start assuming things but I did keep in mind that it could be possible.

I later headed down to Orochimaru's house. As soon as I got there I told them everything that had just happened in Commander Danzo's office. Orochimaru also thought it was very weird and unusual.

"The only possible way you could know when someone from the Akatsuki is going to attack is if you are in the Akatsuki, but you have to be a certain rank to be able to access the log (Logs tell you who leaves the Akatsuki Hideout and what time they left)" Orochimaru said

After he stated that out I saw a worried look on his face.

"What is it ?" I said

"The Akatsuki also had a commander, he would never show his face and wore a hood covering his face, he was the head of the Akatsuki and gave out orders," he said

"So you're telling me we have the Akatsuki commander giving out orders to the Anbu ?" I said

" Well it is possible that is the case here" He responded

"Okay come back here at night around 8:00 P.M"

"For what exactly ?" I said

"Just do it I will explain later"

After I left Orochimaru's house I went out looking for Lynn and Tobi. After I located them I found them arguing about something.

"What are y'all arguing about ?" I said

"Next week is the Hokage selection, haven't you heard ?" Lynn said

"Wait really ?" I said

"Yea the two people running for Hokage would be Commander Danzo and Lady Tsunade one of the three legendary sannin" Lynn responded

"that is why we were debating whether Commander Danzo or Lady Tsunade should become the next Hokage"

"NO, what if Commander Danzo is not what we think he is, if he becomes Hokage he will have full control of the village and possibly destroy it," I said in my head

"Well thanks, guys for the heads up," I said

I had to get to Orochimaru's place where we would be meeting. After I got there, I was greeted by Orochimaru on his doorstep.

"I need your help, in a little bit we are going to sneak into Commander Danzo's office, after we do that we will search his office for anything suspicious or anything that could give us hints that he is really who we think it is, Ok ?" Orochimaru said

"Isn't that illegal, sneaking into a prohibited area ?" I said

"It is but are you coming or not ?" He said

I agreed and we got going towards the Anbu Hideout. After we got there we had to look out because I knew there were cameras everywhere. After I activated my Sharingan and located all of the cameras we successfully got through and into the office. We started scavenging and trying to look for any paper or anything that looked important but no luck. Until we found papers that had the exact same red cloud that the Akatsuki robes had on them. We opened it and we were shocked. Commander Danzo had a plan if he didn't win the election of Hokage, he was planning a big attack on the Kojo village with the rest of the Akatsuki if he didn't win. There were also more papers inside the folder that had all the strengths and weaknesses of every ninja of the Kojo village, they even had me! I and Orochimaru looked at each other and knew that we couldn't do anything about it, we didn't have a Hokage to inform us about it, and we couldn't show anyone this paper because if we did we could get in big trouble for illegally stealing from a prohibited area. We then later gave it one last look but could find nothing important that we left out and scouted out the area making sure no one was spying on us.
