''What on earth. How did this get in my backpack?''
when she had packed her backpack this morning she definitly didn't pack any books.
Why should she?
Reading in a lonely corner of the bus all by herself would just have made her seem like more of an outcast than she already was.
Not like anyone really cared anyway. Most of these stupid kids seemed like they didnt even notice her.
Though Jane had only joined the chior about a week ago (well actually her parents made her join so she could find some friends) she already felt like all of the other choir members didn't like her.Except for maybe one of them- ricky- though he couldnt talk and was more of a listenner guy he was the only choir member jane felt comfortable around.
After all, maybe it was all in her head. She hadnt really talked with any of the others yet and frankly, it was probably her fault either way.
''what do i care? I'll just look whose book it is and give it back to them'' she thought to herself. As she pulled the book out of her backpack her curiosity overtook her and she decided to take a closer look at it.
The cover looked beatiful. It seemed rather old. Not the type of old book you usually see in a library. It looked like noone had opened it in ages.
On the dark brown , leathery cover the words ''how to ride the cyclone - a beginner's guide''
were written in bright red letters.
''Interesting...'' she murmured as she decided to give in to the desire to read it.
''not like it's gonna hurt anyone'' she reassured herself.
With those words she opened the first page.
What she didn't know at that moment was that it would change her life forever and ruin here fellow choir member's lifes in the process...
IK THIS CHAPTER IS PRETTY SHORT BUT ITS JUST SUCH A FITTING END IMO
