Chapter 11.

Inuyasha and the others have grown curious about the young lady living amongst them in their village, she was not like them.

They had learned more about Kero's past and her own a little bit more, she had been having dreams about her final days with her mother but hadn't connected the dots just yet.

Inuyasha wanted to help her, but he didn't even know where to begin they were about to find out the hard way sooner or later. 

Let's begin where I left off at enjoy. Inuyasha and Serena were truly becoming friends and enjoying each other's companionship as things started to change around the village, the barrier was weakening, and the snow was melting. Sango woke up the next day and told the others to come outside quickly.

As Miroku Inuyasha and the others all were up front the snow was gone. Just gone, it's like for the first time in years, spring was here.

"It's impossible, it hasn't turned to spring around here since before the curse happened to Inuyasha and the rest of us, it turned dark and cold and full of snow for 19 years, it's been a bitch planting food for Inuyasha, but this is a miracle, Said Keada" shocked.

"I don't get it, how is this happening, what does this mean? Asked Miroku" curiously confused. "I don't know for sure, what it means, but I smell the outside world again like passing the forest, Said Inuyasha" sniffing the air. 

"Are you saying the barrier is weakening around this village that kept all others out and us inside of it? Asked Sango" curiously. "I think it is, but I have a feeling that it's all because of the girl, and her friendship with Inuyasha that this is all possible, the curse is weakening, their friendship is what's causing this to happen, Said Miroku" thinking about it.

"Kagome did say if a girl came here, and she could love or care for Inuyasha beyond just what the human eyes see, and she truly did love him, the curse would begin to weaken, Said Keada" remembering how Inuyasha described how the curse worked.

"Are you suggesting that because of Serena being here it's breaking the curse? Asked Sango" Hopeful.

"I don't know for sure, but it's possible, after all this time later 19 years there hasn't been a spring or a change of weather around here, not until now, Said Keada in" a serious tone of voice. "We don't know exactly what to expect Sango, there's no telling how this is happening, Stated Miroku" wisely. 

As Kero walked outside. "I see the spell worked, Said Kero" gently. "Spell, what spell? Asked everyone at the same time.

As he lifted his tail there was a book wrapped in his tail of him holding it. As they all came closer to him. As it was a spell book. 

"Wait what is Serena doing with the spell books? Asked Keada" Confused. "She's trying to find a way to break the curse surrounding this whole village, she wanted to help, she wants to help set you all free, said Kero" Seriously. "But she cannot use books or these spells to undo Kagome's curse, it's a complicated spell sure, but this won't work, said Keada" loudly and trying to be smart. 

Serena was behind them all but didn't know she was there. Kero chose to keep it to himself and asked why not. 

"Why not, she's strong enough to bring back spring around here and the barrier is weakening as well, and your tree is starting to bloom, and it's begun to heal after all this time, said Kero" hinting at the secret tree of ages.
