I can feel eyes prying at me. I slowly turn my head toward my rocking chair, there. She's ricking back and forth. Creak! Creak! The rocking chair screeches. I yelp and hide in the covers.
"I saw you!" Screeches a voice. I grab my flash light near the end of my bed and flick it on. I shine it on the creatures face and slowly slink toward the door. The creature hurdled itself at me and I ran toward the door.
"I will get you!" It screams and falls to the ground. I stop and walk toward the body. I poke it with me toe an it looks up at me with pure hatred. I back away again only to find the door shut. I turn around reaching for the doorknob when I feel claws fig into my back. I scream and turn around, hitting the thing with my flash light. I turn and fling the door open. Running out into the dark hallway only to find it running after me. I scream and turn toward my parents room. But, I don't make it in time. It catches up to me. Grabbing me by the ankles and dragging me into my room, locking the door.
