A humming tune filled the silence of a quiet mind. Heavy breathing filled the air, only for the intake of breath to be quiet. Eyes down casted to the flithy, carpet floor, where a pair of mudded shoes rested.

"Kelly?" A deep voice called out, the eyes down casted to the floor shifted upward and meet a pair of warm brown eyes. Concern and relief over lapped the other, fighting to be the dominate emotion in the irises that seem so familiar to her. Was she Kelly? Yes, she was. It had been so long since she heard someone call her by her name.

"Hi, Uncle Leigh" The voice she so scarcely recognized came out in a raspy tone. Evident of the lack of use. A smile lifted onto her uncle's face, happy to have heard her voice for the first time in years, even if the sound of it didn't sound quite familiar.

Leigh Brackett could hardly recognize his niece, yet he knew it was her all the same. She was practically a tooth pick though, curled in on herself with the palest of skin, most likely from a lack of sunlight. That told him, wherever she had been or gone, their were no windows.

"Where have you been?" Tears welled up in her eyes, shifting them from her uncle to the couch. Flashes of the past few years crossing through her mind. The pain, the loneliness, the fear. All of it coming back to her far to quickly for her to take.

So she just shook her head and placed it on her knees. Leigh sighed, eyes flickering from the floor and back to Kelly in a millisecond, another question coming to mind. "Did someone take you?" It was an obvious question, one that the Police Department of Haddonfield had been assuming was the case of her disappearance.

"Yes" Was all she managed to say, wiping the tears falling down her cheeks with her left arm. Leigh's brows furrowed in confusion. "Who took you, Kelly?" he asked, leaning forward on his elbows.

Lifting her eyes, she met her uncles and in that moment, Leigh knew.

"The Boogey Man" Michael Myers.
