EP : 11

As usual, Hyunjin was sitting at his seat in the art class, wearing earphones. He had chemistry class in the next 10 minutes but he doesn't feel like going. Just sitting in the art class makes him feel unstressed. He usually draws something that's on his mind but there's nothing right now.

"hey, quiet one."

Hyunjin can hear the voice though he was wearing earphones. He smirked a bit before looking up at the boy who called.

"If you add an indirect kiss to our bet, I already succeeded."

Hyunjin said making the other frown. But he heard seojun sighing in defeat.

"yeah about that, I came here to talk. you won, so let's stop the bet here."

That was unexpected. Hyunjin is the frowning one now.

"cuz you're scared?"

"right, I'm scared to be the one who hurt him. I didn't even know how did I end up with that idea but I feel sorry for him."

They can feel the awkward tension. Hyunjin rolled his eyes. He is confused about seojun, like is he really worried about minho?

"out of sudden? nevermind, you lost anyway."

Seojun left after a while, but now he realizes there's no reason to keep minho next to him since the bet ends. Hyunjin hates this situation, the times he doesn't know what to do anymore cuz the thing he prepared for is canceled. Lots happened before, like he did study all night cuz the coming exam tomorrow but then in the morning, he heard the exam is canceled. How annoying.

'It's okay, I need a friend anyway.'

But thinking that in another way, this becomes better, isn't it? hurting an innocent person's feelings just with a bet won't make him cool or something.

Hyunjin saw minho waiting for him after school. He was smiling at hyunjin, but hyunjin didn't return the smile.

"How was the day?"

He heard minho asked when he got into the car. Hyunjin sighs.

"ruined."

Hyunjin said quietly, making the older shocked and asked,

"huh? what happened?"

He does have a softened sound mixed with a worried tone. Somehow hyunjin likes the soft voice owners like his mother. He even promised that he will marry the one who had a softened voice and heart when he was young.

"I won a bet."

"then, what do you mean by-"

"in an unexpected way."

He hates surprises or sudden things. Whether a good thing or not, he just doesn't like them. He always tries his best to avoid them.

"Then, Are you sad?"

Minho asked again when the traffic light turned red. Hyunjin feels like he's trying to sympathy him which is not really needed. But he does think it's cute.

"no, but I don't feel joy as well."

He saw minho, nodding his head as if he understands his feelings.

"Oh, secretary Lee, take me to Jang's mansion."

"to S-group's manager Jang Wonyoung?"

Minho asked him twice, just to be sure. But he doesn't know why would hyunjin go to her. The wedding was canceled but is he trying to reconnect with her again?

"yeah."

Hyunjin doesn't like her but in a business way, he can't put his feelings first so neither is she. They can't refuse Hwangs' offers, it's up to the companies' influence and how large they are.

"Mr. Hwang? Are you sure? She once refused your father's offer, so why?"

"She can refuse, but her background (family) can't. And just look at me, what to lose, huh? I have it all, beauty, wealth, Intelligence, and a strong background."

Hyunjin says confidently while minho looks down a bit.

"You're right, Mr. Hwang. It's not easy to be like you."

A fake smile though.

"secretary Lee, would you like to help me?"

"Hwang, we are truly sorry. She keeps saying no to the marriage. And we also don't want her to marry the one who she doesn't love and live unhappily. I hope you and your father will understand this."

Mrs. Jang apologized or should he says 'beg'? Begging him to back off indirectly.

'The company's stock prices are already falling due to rumors that Jang's Mansion refused the marriage offer of Hwangs.'

Hyunjin overheard his father and one of the shareholders discussing last night and that's what the shareholder said. Hyunjin won't give up.

"then, there will be a compromise. I won't have to come here again if you agree to this."

"go ahead, Hwang. We will accept if we can. Let's see."

"We don't refuse the marriage, it was canceled by both sides.' make this happen in tomorrow's news."

"or I'll tell them wonyoung is dating a coworker of hers, and let's see if the stock shareholders could be disappointed or not."

Every shareholder that S-group (Jang's Mansion) had, want wonyoung to be on their side, in another way as a wife. So is Hwang. S-group is a global company after all.

"Hwang? Are you threatening us?"

Hyunjin gives a smile to Mrs. Jang who couldn't hide her emotions.

"as I said, it's our compromise. I'm not threatening you but the rumors fly fast, you know."

Hwang Hyunjin, a 19-year-old student, knows how to deal with this. He's telling them, he will make rumors of wonyoung if they don't agree to his offer right now, indirectly.

"deal, please watch out for tomorrow's news, Hwang."

Mrs. Jang said, glaring at minho who is standing behind hyunjin without a word. Minho bows down at her before following hyunjin from getting out. Hyunjin told him to message his(hj's) friend who is currently working as a new writer if Jang's parents didn't agree. He sent an 'it went well' after this.

"Who was the boy behind hyunjin?"

Mrs. Jang asked her secretary.

"It's hyunjin's new secretary, Lee Minho."

"sent a person to watch out for him, I don't feel good about him."

Hyunjin smirked at what he just heard. He was standing there for a few minutes, listening to their discussion.

'They want to touch my man now? Lee minho, now I got another reason to keep you next to me."
