New Beginnings

I turned of the alarm clock as I got out of bed,Ready for the day ahead of me.I went and took a hot bath then returned to my bed to get ready to leave for work.

I made my way downstairs to see my housekeeper preparing breakfast.
She turned around and saw me then said,"Goodmorning Ms.Munro,I hope you had slept good"

"I have,Thanks for asking." I said

then it hitted me,I was about to be late for a very Important meeting.

I picked up my car keys and told Jane,my housekeeper that I had to run.

I arrived at The Munro Corporation International and parked in my parking space.

I walked inside the building and was greeted by my personal assistant,Ms.Cordell.

"Goodmorning Ms.Munro,Here are your files"

"Goodmorning Cordell,Thank you.Are the Investors here?"

"Yes they arrived a moment ago"

"Okay,I have to get going"

I hurriedly went to the conference room.

"Goodmorning ladies and Gentlemen,Shall we begin"

The Investors and I discussed and closed deals for almost two hours then the meeting ended.

I was about to leave when one of the investors called me and complimented me on how I handled the meeting then he suprised me and asked if I would like to be the leading director for his new project.

I replied by saying"I will think about it and contact you when I have made my decision."

"Wonderful Ms.Munro.I'll see you soon"He said

"Yes Hopefully"I replied.

I went to my office to begin some work on some documents.

I suddenly realized that this week was looking bright and I should take the offer cause it would certainly be a new beginning.

So how was the first chapter?
It was kinda short and slow but the story is just getting started.The following chapters will be a success
