Christmas was one of their favorite time of the year, and this year they were going to confess to their very best friend for 15 years, Severus Snape.

It was Christmas and the both them were opening present the one you gave each other, in Severus's dorm. They opened Severus's to them, it was a fluffy sweater with the both of their initials.

"Aww, Sevy thank you!" They smile and hug him tight, "Now open mine." Severus pulled the ribbon and opened the box. The box was full of roses and a small jewelry box in the middle of it. Severus grabbed it and snapped open the box. The box had a silver heart locket, when you open it, it had an engraving which read, 'as long as you have this you have my heart.'

Severus looked up at them. They grabbed a hold of his hand and looked back at him.

"I love you, I always have." He looked at them and they kissed him. Pulling back they rested their forehead on his. He recuperated kissing them again.

Pulling them onto his lap they made out heavily.

That day the both of you lost your virginity. Cuddling afterwards they softly kissed his shoulders up his neck to his face.

"I love you."

"I love you too." Severus kissed them passionately.

The next day everyone noticed the pep in their step. They were so happy this happened.

Stopping they saw Severus and Lily at a tree in the field. They were talking and Severus pulled out the jewelry box you gave him. He gave it to Lily. She accepted it opening it she gasped pulling out the necklace she smiled at him he told her something when she clicked it open. She looked sympathetic while responding to him. He looked heartbroken when she responded.

Tearing up they ran back to their dorm. Tear fell from their face way before they arrived at the dorm. They put on a sweater and some sweat pants. Flopping in their bed they cried and cried into their pillow.

It's been days they haven't left their bed and their dorm mates ignored them, they never liked them anyway. Severus though was worried out of his mind. Asking their dorm mates everyday about them.

Soon weeks past and even the professors were worried about her. Because it was the girls dorm the nurse, Mrs. Pomfrey checked up on them.

Finally they left the bed and had a shower with the help of Mrs. Pomfrey. She even escorted them to the great hall. Severus ran up to them and bombarded them with questions. They walked past him though.

Asking more questions walking with them to their seat they continued to ignore him. Sitting down he stayed persistent.

"Fine do want to know what happened?" They snapped. "You." They poked his chest with their pointer. "You confessed your love to Lily with the Christmas I gave YOU. What happened was last Christmas I gave you my heart and the very next day you gave it away." They were crying and left while Severus was sitting there speechless.
