I'm walking off the bus, my new Nike beanie hanging off my head. "Come on Mosiah, let's go inside!" my sister, Dezza, shouts, bumping into me. "What? You're not going in the front door are you?" I say. "Yes, I am! Come on, we're going inside, come on." Dez says. Dezza is a girl who is always on the move and always has a new destination in mind. She has no patience for anything. If she wants to do something, she'll do it! I run after her as she pulls the door open of the huge school. Huntley High School sounds like a place for nerds.

I'm in my first year of high school and just starting to figure out what I want to study for my next hockey game. My sister is in her first year as well year. I am the only one in our family that is still keeping up with her, somehow. So we have to keep moving. In the last few weeks, nonstop about school and what she thinks her schedule is going to look like.

I don't know what her first destination will be. Maybe she is headed to the mall in this school or library. Or maybe she will head to a party or a dance. Whatever it is, I will never forget her and the ways she would just blab every single day. Well, I might forget her. Her smile is like nothing else I have ever seen. She's so pretty and better than all the girls, except for Jessica, my babe, my girl.

Anyway, we start heading where the guides start telling us to go, which is to the cafeteria so we can have a school assembly. When we are all quiet, a tall, thin woman steps onto the stage. "That's Ms. Huntley." someone says behind us, to another student.

She looks around, smiles, then say, "Welcome to my school, students." We all smile, as we would do. She then tells us that they will be in charge of our schedules. She tells everyone to sit or stand, depending on how long it takes to reach the floor. Everyone does. We are in the middle of a cafeteria, on the floor, listening to this woman talk to us. Boring.
