Chapter Nine: Hell In A Cell
Alexis' POV

As Rhea and I are backstage in the locker room getting dressed, I hear a knock on the door. I go to open it and it's Damian holding Victoria. I reach my arms out as she jumped into my arms.

"I missed you so much baby!" I said as I kissed her forehead.
"Mommy!" She said as she squeezed me tighter.

Damian stood outside the door as I blew him a kiss so he could walk out with Rhea and Edge to the ring for their match. I sat Victoria down as I heard a knock on the door again. I went to open it and I noticed it was Stephanie and Hunter.

"We're so glad to see you!" Stephanie said as she picked Victoria up.

Victoria laughed as I went to do my make up getting ready to go out to face The Miz. Shawn came in and showed me the game plan one more time. Victoria looked at the tv and got excited when Damian got into the ring. We watched as Damian began his high kicks and claps to make Finn go deaf. I heard another knock on the door as I noticed Seth and Becky come in. I heard the announcer announce that Damian had won, I grabbed Victoria to go meet him. As we were walking out I noticed Becky was following me playing with Victorias hands.

"Congratulations Papi!" I said as I kissed Damian's lips.
"Thank you." He said as he wrapped his arms around Victoria and I.
"Go to Daddy baby. I need to go out here." I said as I kissed Victorias forehead.
"Good luck baby." Damian said as he kissed my cheek.

As I'm walking out to the ring I see Mike standing out there. It's show time. As I step into the ring I get this feeling in my gut that somethings wrong but I just let it be. The bell has rung and I immediately started pushing and shoving Mike. I grab the chair that was in the ring and go to smack him with it when it bounces off his head and hits me in the stomach. I begin feeling a pain and I just go along with it. I jump up and do a kick to the chin coming off the top rope. All of a sudden the pain became unbearable I started screaming in pain. The referee called off the match. I begin to look up and all of a sudden everything faded out.

Damian's POV

"DAMIAN! IT'S ALEXIS!" I heard Rhea scream as I was playing with Victoria.

Becky grabbed Victoria as Seth, Rhea and I ran out to the ring to meet Lexi. As I look at her she's breathing but she's not responding. I began rubbing her hands as they're loading her onto the stretcher.

"Baby, come on. Wake up. You're okay I promise." I said as I felt a tear run down my face.
"Alexis! Wake up!" Stephanie said as she got between Rhea and I.
"What the hell happened?" Hunter asked Mike as Mike got super confused.
"I'm not sure man. Everything was going as planned then all of a sudden she screamed out in pain." Mike said as we were walking her backstage to meet the ambulance.
"Damian, you and I will go with her. Becky and Seth can handle Victoria." Stephanie said as we got into the back of the ambulance.
"Come on baby please respond!" I pleaded Lexy as I began kissing her forehead.

A few moments go by as we hear Lexy start moaning in pain.

"Damian, somethings wrong. Where am I? Where's Victoria?" She asked as a tear went down her face.
"Something happened in the ring we're getting you checked out honey. Everything will be fine." Stephanie said as I wrapped my arms around Lexy.
"My stomach is fucking killing me." She said as she screamed out in pain.

As we arrive at the hospital we began running back to the emergency room as the nurses immediately took us back. I grab ahold of Lexys hand as she keeps crying. I run my hands through her hair to try to keep the pain from getting stronger. She has both arms folded over her stomach and screams out in pain even more than before.

"We're going to give you a few tests to see if it's appendicitis or anything else fixing to rupture." The doctor said as he took her back and asked for me to stay behind.
"Damian, I don't want to go without you." Lexy said as she looked at me and cried.
"We're going to be right here baby. We'll be here waiting for you." I said as I kissed her forehead.
"She's going to be okay." Stephanie said as the rolled her into the back.

I felt my phone go off as I pulled out my phone.

From Johnny:
Hey man, me and Bailey were watching HIAC is she okay?

To Johnny:
I'll keep you guys updated. The doctors just took her back to give her some tests. Thank you for checking on her.

As I put my phone back into my pocket the doctor came back waved me and Stephanie to come with him. As we began walking behind him I look at the signs and notice we're walking towards Labor and Delivery.

"What's going on?" I asked as my heart started racing immediately.
"I'll tell you once we get into the room with her." The doctor said.
"No damn it. You're going to tell us now!" Stephanie said as her voice was shaking.

We walked into this room and I noticed Lexy was hooked up to some Ivs and she had her legs propped up. There's some tools by her bedside as I heard Stephanie break into tears.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked as I got next to Lexy and began crying along with her.
"Damian, I didn't know." Lexy said as she cried even harder.
"Miss. Stinnet was 7 weeks pregnant." The doctor said as I started crying.
"Was?" I asked as Lexy began crying even more.
"I didn't know anything until this moment." She said as she grabbed my hand.
"The baby didn't survive the impact in the ring for the past couple nights." The doctor said as Stephanie looked at us.
"Have you felt weird or anything lately?" She asked.
"No. Tonight is when I felt everything." Lexy said as she began crying even more.
"It's okay baby. We'll get through all of this." I said as I kissed her forehead.
"Unfortunately, to perform the D&C, I'm going to have to ask you two to leave." The doctor said as Stephanie and I nodded.
"I love you." I said as I kissed Lexys lips and walked out with Stephanie.

As we walked out I decided to FaceTime John and Bailey while Stephanie called Hunter.

"What happened?" Bailey asked as she picked up the phone.
"Well, she's going through a miscarriage and is currently undergoing a D&C." I said as I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
"FUCK!" Bailey said as she got aggravated. "Did anyone even know she was pregnant?"
"No, she didn't have any symptoms just during the match she felt the pain." I said as I tried calming down.
"I know she's really going through it, but I'm sure she'll be okay. She's a tough chick. Plus with you by her side it'll help a lot. Keep in touch man. Have her call us as soon as she gets over everything tomorrow." John said as we said our goodbyes.

Stephanie and I waited out in the lobby for close to a couple hours as I could feel my adrenaline pumping. I heard the door open as I stood up out of the chair.

"You can go in there. We're keeping her overnight. You both are welcome to stay." The doctor said as I ran into the room as he stayed out talking to Stephanie.
"Damian I'm so sorry." Lexy said as I rubbed her hair shushing her and calming her down.
"Don't be baby. You didn't know. I'm just glad you're okay." I said as I kissed her forehead.
"Hey sweetie." Stephanie said as she came in and rubbed Lexys back.
"Thank you for being here." Lexy said as she sobbed.
"Always." Stephanie said as she smiled. "I'm going to head back and update everyone. We will see you guys tomorrow. Get some rest."

As Stephanie walked out I pulled out the hospital chair into a bed. Not too comfortable but as long as I'm with her, I'm fine. I watched her let out a couple more cries then fall asleep. As I felt more tears run down my face I opened up my phone and went through our pictures to make me happy. The one of her, Victoria and I on the beach where I have Victoria on my shoulders and Lexy looking up at us, that's still my favorite. Another one I came across is the one where it's just Lexy and I walking down the beach looking at each other and laughing. Even with our moments like this, looking at how much our love goes through, shows me that we can out stand anything.
