Unfortunately, it was flu season.

The members usually got to decide for themselves if they were going to get the flu shot or not, but because they had such a packed schedule coming up for the winter months the company was basically forcing them to get the flu shot. They were told it was best and that they wanted to reduce the risk of any of the members getting sick and having to cancel any schedules.

"Do it for ARMY," the company told them.

Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi were fine with getting the shot. They were the three that always got it regardless of being told to or not. They never had a problem with it. The rest of the members weren't so on board with the idea.

"Ohh I hate needles!" Hobi complained. They were hanging out at home and had just gotten the call that they'd be going in for their shots the next day.

"I hate needles too!" Jungkook whined, "I don't want to get it!"

"But like they said, think of ARMY. I mean it's better you're not deathly ill during our schedule, right?" Yoongi said.

"It's still better than needles!" Jungkook pouted.

Taehyung and Jimin were practically shaking in their seats over the thought of having to go to the doctor for shots.

"I'm not doing it," Jimin said sternly.

"Jimin you have to," Jin replied. Jimin crossed his arms, "I won't, but we can say I did."

"I'm with Jiminie on that one I don't want to get it either," Taehyung added.

"It's really not that bad," Namjoon said, "It's over in seconds."

"Hyung you know how scared I am of needles!" Jimin cried. Just imagining being in the doctors office was making him sweat with anxiety. This was his worst nightmare coming to life. While Hobi, Jungkook, and Taehyung had a slight fear, Jimin was absolutely terrified of getting shots. He owed that fear to a traumatic experience when he was a child. He went in to get a vaccine when he was about four years old, but the needle to the shot broke off and got stuck in his arm, and he needed it surgically removed.

"I won't do it," Jimin frowned.

Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi realized that the rest of the boys were actually pretty scared about going to the doctor. They all felt bad. Although they had no problem with it, they knew what it was like to be anxious about something. They offered the others words of encouragement, reminding them that everything will be okay.

"And Jimin I know what happened to you as a kid was shitty and scary but something like that would never happen twice," Yoongi said reassuringly.

"You don't know that," Jimin pouted.

"Seriously what are the chances of it happening again?" Yoongi asked.

"The chances aren't zero!" Jimin cried. Jimin's anxiety was making Taehyung's and Jungkook's anxiety worse. It seemed to be squeezing it's way into their chests as well.

"Do we really have to, hyungs?" Jungkook asked sorrowfully.

"Unfortunately we don't have much of a choice," Jin replied.

"What ever happened to human rights?!" Taehyung asked angrily.

Namjoon shrugged, "The boss is the boss. That's all there is to it."

Hobi, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin all sighed. They were not looking forward to this.

The doctors appointment came quickly. They were sitting in the waiting room and Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook were curled up hugging eachother. Hobi was shaking his leg anxiously up and down. He didn't realize just how scared he actually was until he got there. He was scared to death at this point. He didn't like needles either and thought this wouldn't be so bad but now that he was here, he was reeling with nerves.
