Angst with a good ending

Love triangles.

Everyone seems to love them.

But you don't love them so much when you're in the middle of one.

That's where Y/N L/N stood.
And her two love interests, Jake Kim and Samuel Seo.

The two hated each other's guts for a while but eventually began to mostly get along. They each held each other in high respects but would never in a million years admit it out loud.

Their fights became few and far between till you came into their lives.

Funny how one girl can turn two boys against each other with a smile.
Some girls had that power and abused it for their own personal gain.
You, however, was not aware of the power you held until you smiled at them and they fell head over heels.

After meeting them for the first time, they seemed to be everywhere you were. It was honestly kind of creepy.
But, you got to know them. They weren't all that bad.

You found yourself slowly falling for the two.

They never really directly told you their feelings, but you would have to be an idiot not to know.

But, how to tell them?

They'd just fight to see who would be with you.

So, maybe wait for them to confess first?

Yeah, that works.

Whoever confesses first, that's the one you were going to go with.

And it was Samuel.

Samuel Seo confessed to you first.

Something inside you kept telling you to reject him, but the joy of being confessed to was far greater. You reciprocated his feelings and became an official couple.

The first few months was great!

You got along amazingly. You argued very little.

But, it didn't last.

His real side began to show.

It's also funny how you don't see a person's real side till you're together with them.

You saw him with other girls.

He claimed it was just for the job. To make a good impression on everyone.

Then, how come you're flirting with another girl in front of your own girlfriend, Samuel?

The red flags kept building up. More and more.

Jake watched. It killed him every time someone would lightly touch you and how you would jump. How scared you looked when you made a mistake. How miserable you looked as he touched another woman. How every time Samuel would take you away, you would look back and plead with your eyes to help you.

He noticed as black circles formed under your eyes. The dried tears that were evident on your face.

It broke him.

He couldn't watch any longer.

He confronted you about it.

He tried to convince you to leave him, pointing out the bruises on your arms.

Your pathetic ass dismissed him, saying he loved you.

But you knew what ever feeling he once had, was gone.

In all honesty, you were just scared.
You were afraid Samuel would something bad happen if you left. Or maybe he'd be thrilled.

Jake confronted Samuel.
It was a bloody fight.
Both came out covered from head to toe in bruises and cuts and scraps and fractured and broke bones.
