Ready for Robert? (CH.2)

As they approached Roberts house they could already see him looking in the window he waved when he saw them and Ross waved back.

" What a weirdo. " Ross said jokingly. Roy laughed at Rosses comment.

" Bye Radford! " Robert said as he closed the door behind him.

" Anyway, What's up you guys! " Robert exclaimed.

" Nothing much what about you you seem.. excited? " Roy said.

" Oh, Radford brought back 2 full big bags of pop corn from work!" Robert said as he smiled.

" Wow cool dude, get us any? " Ross teased.

" I actually did! " Robert pulled out two bags of pop corn.

"Oh, Thanks Robert. " Roy said. " Yeah thanks! " Ross said.

" No problem, also Roy you seem sad are you okay? " Robert said, worrisome.

" I guess. " Roy shrugged.

" He's been thinking about what his uncle did to him. " Ross explained.

" Oh, I'm.. I'm sorry Roy. " Robert frowned.

" Thanks for caring though " Roy half smiled.

" Of course dude. " Robert said as he cracked a smile.

" Should we go to the candy shop to light stuff up? It's feeling really gloomy right now.. " Ross joked.

" Good idea! " Robert smiled as he helped Roy up.

Ross lead the way as Roy and Robert followed.

" Wait guys, we should probably be careful I didn't tell my parents I was leaving, so they might come looking for me " Roy said.

" Why not? " Ross and Robert said simultaneously.

" They were gonna ask to many questions.. " Roy scoffed.

" True.. It's fine we'll just look out for your dads van! " Robert said cheering stuff up! Ross agreed and Roy nodded.

They walked in and said hi to Kevin. " Hi Kevin! " Robert said trying to be friendly.

" Hey dude. " Kevin said scrolling on his phone.

" You guys get candy I'll be talking to Kevin. " Robert said.

" Okay. " Ross said.

" So Kevin when are you and your boyfriend coming over again? It was really fun last time! " Robert asked, walking up to the counter Kevin was standing behind.

" Oh, this Sunday so tomorrow, Radford already said it's fine. " Kevin smiled.

" Cool, I just wanted to know don't worry. " Robert said as Ross and Roy walked to the counter and gave him the candy they wanted.

" You can have it for $5. " Kevin said.

" Really? I thought this stuff would be more than that. " Roy questioned but handed him the five bucks.

" Yeah it is but it's cool don't worry. " Kevin took the ten dollars and put it in his drawer.

" Thanks Kevin. " Ross said.

" No problem have a nice day guys! " Kevin waved as they walked out.

" So, where next? " Ross asked.
