"that plane ride was so long oh my god." nora said as she stretched out her arms as the four teens got into the elevator to claim their baggage. charlotte gripped her fingernails into her kate spade purse as she couldn't believe how nora could just act like everything was normal. she ignored her for five months. five months !
"i agree that was the longest plane ride ever." evan agreed. it wasn't even past 48 hours and evan had already developed feelings for nora. as for nora, she had her eyes on asher; who- let's just say his mind wasn't on nora.
charlotte rolled her eyes at evans comment and asher had muffled his laugh since evan was so bad at showing who he liked. charlotte couldn't stand to somewhat third wheel the entire trip as she tried to find something to do for herself to keep herself away and out of the conversation.
"ground level, reached." the automatic voice in the elevator finally announced as the four got off, their carry-ons closely dragging behind them.
"our luggage would somewhere be at 7-7A as for what said on the plane..." asher mumbled as he pulled out his phone to confirm. evan had managed to already get down to the ground level and nora closely behind him. charlotte tapped asher's shoulder and nodded toward the two idiots below as asher quickly understood and followed her down the escalator.
""you guys can't just leave without us, we're going to get separated sooner or later if we keep this up so stick with the group." asher ordered as he tightened his grip around his carry-on.
"hey, i think that's my luggage !" nora gasped as she grabbed asher's arm & pointed toward a light pink suitcases circling around and around. asher took of nora's arm gently before going back to try & fetch an uber for the four.
"i'll do it nora! i'm pretty strong you know.." evan volunteered as he ran toward the suitcase, which looked heavier than it looked. as he finally came back evan ran off again as his suitcase had just gone by.
"my other suitcase !" nora squealed as she hopped up. charlotte groaned and headed toward the suitcase as no one was available but her. thankfully, this one seemed lighter than it looked and charlotte successfully brought it back to the group all gathered around.
"i think we're ready to go." asher announced as he motioned for everyone to follow.
"wait we didn't get my suitcase." charlotte said as she looked back toward the luggage area.
"i grabbed it, it's at the front" asher told her as he pushed the cart full of luggage. nora huffed in jealousy as she quickly followed behind.
charlotte was impressed as asher had gotten an uber for them, and he could speak english as well, which was much more easier.
"where to?" the man asked as he slowly pulled out of the airport parking lot. as asher pointed out the directions and the roads on his gps , nora pulled out her phone and gasped at the sunset already happening.
"the sunset lighting oh my gosh, it's so good !!" she squealed as she hurried to take a selfie. charlotte didn't want to agree with her but the sunset sure was pretty. it had a pink orangish glow around the dim sun and the sky was even different shades of pink. it was gorgeous.
"that's beautiful.." nora gasped taking more photos as she took a breath.
evan took a look at the sunset and stated "that isn't pretty enough as you nora."
nora didn't even blush at the compliment because she quote on quote didn't hear.
