A month passed Sam felt better but she was told to not walk on her legs until after 3 months. She was sad she couldn't walk anymore but stayed positive because it could have been worse. A week later it was the weekend everyone met at Sam's house to check on her and stay over since she couldn't go anywhere. They played board games, watched TV and talked. They tried not to talk about IT. They thought it was a harsh topic for Sam to talk about.
After watching a little bit more of TV Sam asked if they wanted to go on a walk then made a joke about how she wouldn't really walk. Everyone laughed and went for a walk. While they were walking they went to the mall to get more board games they each picked one game from different stories. Then they went to McDonalds because everyone was hungry after walking around. They ordered and sat waiting for their food. Billy asked if they wanted to eat in and take a little break everyone agreed. When their food came they ate and talked about the board game they each picked out and how to play the games they picked.
When they were done eating they threw away trash and sat done for a while before walking again. When they were ready they got up and started to walk back to Sam's house. On their way back they saw the old man that took them to the hospital. They went over to him to say thank you again because without him Sam wouldn't be here. The old man told them to go away but they wanted to talk more about the wishing well. They knew it was a harsh subject to talk about for Sam but she said she didn't mind because she wanted to know more about it as well. So they begged him to tell them more stories about the wishing well and why he believed them when they said a killer clown attacked Sam when they told him.
He said he would tell them the story of how IT came to be. They walked to the park so they could talk about it. Sam didn't want an old man to know where she lived. The old man started by saying when you died the wish would go away. He said it all started when a man wished for a dancing clown. No one knew why a grown man would want a clown but he got what he wanted. A clown crawled out of the well but it didn't come out funny and full of jokes it came creepy and weird. They made a deal that if the clown did whatever the man wanted he would make sure he would live forever. He named the clown IT the dancing clown. At first the clown was nice and did whatever the man wanted. The clown actually grew to like the man they became good friends with each other.
The man soon had a wife to call his own but still made time for IT but when the man and his wife had a kid he didn't pay that much attention to IT. IT didn't like that the man payed more attention to his family and didn't pay attention to IT that much. IT soon ran away and hid from the man and his family. The man looked for him day and night for a whole month. What the man didn't know was that IT was planning a way to get rid of the man's family so he could have him to himself again. IT wanted to hurt the man's feelings so he didn't set his plan right away. When the man's son got older the man told him to make a wish that IT the dancing clown was once again alive after he died and to do the same with his kids. His son agreed and promised his dad that he would.
IT was ready to do his plan after thinking for a while. He thought the man would forgive him and just be happy that he was back. He planned to kill the son first then the wife. He went in the house and saw no one was there so he hid in the son's room. Once they got home everyone was tired so they went to bed. When the man's son walked in his room IT charged at him with a knife not seeing his dad behind him. The man jumped in front of his son trying to protect him. IT had stabbed the man instead of his son and started to fill weaker and weaker with every moan of the pain by the man. The man's son ran to get his mom, who was in the kitchen, to get something to drink before bed.
The man told IT that he was happy to see him and that he missed him a lot. Then he told IT that he still did his part of the deal and told him to treat his son well when he comes back. He also apologized to IT for not showing him enough. Both of them crying as they both fade from the world. By the time the man's son and wife got back it was too late he was gone, they both cried. After the man's funeral his son went to the wishing well to do what his dad told him to. But he added something to his wish. He wished IT the clown would come with power. Hoping IT would save his dad. When IT appeared he grabbed the boy by the neck choking with anger he didn't care that he was going to die again. IT soon remembered what the man said and stopped. When he stopped the boy asked if he had the power to bring people from the dead. IT said no and left. He took his anger out by killing other kids since he didn't want to kill the man's son.
