Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to the Ice and Fire Novels, Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon TV shows. However, I decided to have a little play around with the characters. I do not earn any money from writing these stories, it is for my entertainment and is something I like to share.
Brienne knocked on Gilly's door that evening, just as the sun was setting. Ser Rodden wasn't the Silverwing on guard, instead it was one of his brothers who Brienne didn't know the name of, but he was clearly expecting her as he let her in to see Gilly, who was looking hot, flustered and red faced.
"What's wrong?" Brienne asked.
"The babe is kickin." Gilly sighed. "She's gettin a bit lively over these last few days."
"Are you sure you're only six moons?" Brienne frowned.
"Almost seven." Gilly corrected her. "It's harder without Sam." she admitted.
"You'll see him soon, I promise." Brienne smiled as there was a tapping at the door. The Silverwing opened it and bowed his head at Ser Rodden as Brienne watched them change over their duties. Once the Silverwing had left, Ser Rodden checked the corridor before closing the door and locking it from the inside, prompting Gilly to panic.
"What's goin on?" she asked, her eyes wide with fear.
"We're getting you and the babes out of here." Brienne told her.
Gilly looked over at Ser Rodden. "But what about him?" she asked.
"I'm here to help." Ser Rodden grinned. "I want out of this shithole as much as you do. But we need to hurry." he turned to Brienne. "Where is your armour?"
"It is in my solar." she said. "In a bag."
"Have you got your key?" Ser Rodden asked as Brienne took out the key.
"I'll go get it. You ready everyone here. Pack the food which had been prepared for your supper. We are going to need as much food and water to keep us going for a few days." he told them.
"Where are we goin?" Gilly asked.
"Dragonstone." Brienne told her. "To see Sam."
"How?" Gilly frowned.
"Secret passages." Ser Rodden nodded. "It might be a bit tricky but I've got stuffy to help you get out. I've got us all some clothes to disguise us. I've managed to store some food and water, but it won't be enough to last us all until Dragonstone. That is why we need everything on the table, we should last us. I've found us a boat which is just about big enough for all of us." he turned to Brienne. "I hope you're good with boats." he said.
"I come from Tarth, an island with some of the most treacherous waters around Westeros, do you think I know much about boats?" she asked.
"A simply yes would have worked, my Lordy." he joked and Brienne rolled her eyes. "We've only got a window of six hours to get a good enough head start before they might start to notice we're gone." Ser Rodden told them. "We should be out of the castle in about half an hour and on the boat within the hour. Then we can sail for about five hours, that should give us some distance away from Kings Landing, if the winds are good then we'll be well on our way to Dragonstone before anyone notices we're gone."
"How do we get out without anyone seeing us? Gilly asked.
"As I said, secret passages. You go get the food and wake Little Sam and Jonny." Ser Rodden directed them. "I'll get the armour and other things I've brought to disguise us." he said as he opened a panel in the wall and disappeared behind it, much to Gilly's surprise.
