it has been quite some time since me and my brother, Darren, went to pay our parents a visit. since thanksgiving was coming up, i would love to go and see my family with Darren but being NSB editor is hard. sleepless nights and always editing or filming. Darren, as well as the other boys, had told me multiple times that i can always split the work load but i refuse to.

however, last night, i was in my room editing their new video when all 7 boys came in. i thought they wanted to film so i went to get my camera

Darren: y/n..
me: hm?
Darren: the both of us. in your room.
me: oh ok..

~in the room~

me: 什么事? (what happen?)
darren: 没事，但是我有一件事告诉你 (nothing happen, but i need to tell you something)
me: 告诉我什么? (tell me what?)
darren: 我们一起回家 (we'll be going back home)
me: darren are you crazy? i have so much work to do. i cant just simply take a break!
?: ofc you can. you'll just past me the SD Card and i can edit it myself
me: are you sure Oli?
Oli: ofc i'm sure. you've been working hard ever since you joined y/n. thank you
me: thanks Oli
Oli: anytime y/n
darren: go pack your suitcase and passport. we're leaving tmr evening
Oli: so will the boys. we'll have early dinner tmr before going our separate ways
me + darren: ok

Oli left and i look at Darren. he couldn't meet my gaze so i shifted his head using my fingers to face me. i look deeply into his eyes and hug him tight. he hug me back and i jump into him. my legs were wrap around his waist. i nuzzle my face into the crook of his neck and sob softly.

my tears wet his tee but he still holds me tight. afraid when if he lets go, i'll disappear into thin air. i'm forever grateful that i have such a caring family. i soon drifted off to sleep in my brother's arm and could feel the softness of my bed. Darren wrap his arms around me and laid my head in his chest.
