The studio was almost silent a cloth could be heard dropped, but not so quietly the fragile plink of a pin could radiate through the room. Both men would be messing around with how they wanted the song to go, so they had the girls come into the studio too. Everyone but the redhead had shown up, but it was a typical fashion for her to be late. The boys had requested everyone to be here by nine, and it was now nine twenty.

"Happy Christmas month, losers!" someone yelled, breaking the awkward silence in the room. The voice heard could not be mistaken for anyone else; it was Frida Lyngstad. Frida, the redhead, was carrying four bags of what could only be Christmas decorations. "Sorry for being so late I thought the studio needed to get in the spirit," she shared, setting down the plastic bags on the counter at the end of the room.

"Okay, we'll let you know when we need you, go ahead and put up your decorations," Benny said, obviously getting Frida excited.

"They want us to be here when they don't need our help?" Agnetha exclaimed, aggressively plopping down on the couch. She would much rather be at her apartment reading romance novels than sitting around waiting for them to be needed. Although, she was excited to spend some time with Frida. Agnetha's known she's been at least a bit attracted to the girl since she met her, but it wasn't until later she realized it was more than just attraction.

Little did the blonde know, the older girl was also experiencing the same thing, although she's known it was real feelings for longer. She was looking forward to spending time with Agnetha, but she wasn't sure if she was.

Both girls got lost in thought, which happened to be about each other. Agnetha was deep in thought about her feelings for Frida, fully convinced that the latter didn't feel the same. Frida was worried that the blonde didn't want to spend time with her. Neither of the girls knew the two felt like the other was the only one that truly understood them.

They were brought back to reality when they heard Bjorn, "What happened to the studio needing some spirit?"

"I guess we both got lost in thought," the blonde said, blushing. Of course, Agnetha got lost in thought; the thoughts were about Frida. It was like whenever the older woman would come to her mind - she forgot everything else she was thinking. Her thoughts again were interrupted, but this time by Frida, grasping her hand and pulling her off the couch.

"Come on, Agnetha, we've got some decorating to do," the older woman said, dragging the blonde to the counter. "Okay, there are some tree decorations in here," she motioned to two of the bags, "yes, I have a tree - it's in the hallway. The other two bags are other decorations like signs and shit."

Although Agnetha was taken aback by all of the decorations Frida bought, she couldn't say she was surprised. The girl had always been one to go full out for Christmas - though she had never brought it into the studio. Her apartment during December was always full of little Christmas-themed knick-knacks - and of course, regular decorations.

"I'm going to go get the tree; how do you feel about putting it there?" she pointed to a corner behind one of the couches.

"I like it," she smiled.

Frida then walked out of the room, grabbing the tree box. While she did that, Agnetha pulled decorations out of the bags; tinsel garland, red, silver, and gold ornaments, little knick-knacks, and some signs.

"Okay, will you help me put it together and fluff out the branches?" Frida asked, entering the room with the tree box in hand.

"Yeah, sure."

Together we set up the tree, stacking the different levels on top of each other and then spreading out the branches. Then, they both went for the same one - and Agnetha's hand lightly fell on top of Frida's.

Both girls glanced at each other, getting lost in each other's eyes. Neither their hands nor eyes budged; they stayed staring at each other with their hands connected. Both girls felt the sparks - like both their hearts were on fire. You could see it in their eyes. Two flames are doomed to connect - it doesn't matter how long it takes, but they eventually will.

Agnetha was finally brought back to reality, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to grab the same branch as you," she said, shaking her head.

"No, it's okay, don't worry," Frida smiled.

"Are you sure? I didn't mean to step that far; it was an accident," Agnetha said, obviously worried she accidentally stepped too far.

"Agnetha, it's okay, I promise," she sincerely said, putting her hands on Agnetha's hand. Then they stared at each other again; the same thing happened by the tree. It's clear to anyone in the studio that they had feelings for each other, but both were oblivious.

They may not want to admit their feelings to each other, still dealing with internalized homophobia. Maybe they just got so lost in each other's eyes that they didn't notice, too busy longing for each other to perceive the other's yearning. Or maybe they were just oblivious to seeing love in others - but whatever it was, it doesn't change them not seeing their feelings for each other, not seeing the immense love for each other.
