Leo and Emily snickered around the clock.

It was time to make supper in the house

Cackling quiet like a mouse, they made the way to the kitchen

And took the cheese grater away

Jane was a lady who cooked all night,

Slaving away until the daylight

With her magic kinds of cheese

That makes even a goblin feel at ease

Walking into the kitchen she gasped,

"With no Cheese Grater, I will know no peace!
"Where did it go? Is it here?"

She groaned and sighed and murmured and heaved.

She left the kitchen preparing no cheese soup, feeling rather GRIEVED.

Jane brought out to supper,

A soup made of bread

The siblings looked to each other

And shook their cisgender heads

"Mom, do you jest?"
"Mom, is it true?"
"We will not eat such a thing"
"As plain brown bread soup."

The kids sulked all night,

with nothing in their tummy.

"We must not take the cheese grater.

The result is not funny."
