A Group of Unknown Heroes

There was a single kingdom on Mars. A kingdom large enough to house whole alien civilization that walked around freely. An alien named Orlex had been summoned to the throne room of this kingdom to have meeting with Jola.
The massively muscular alien king known as Jola sat in his seat. Orlex walked into the room to see Jola.
Orlex said, "You ordered me my lord."
Jola said, "Yes. Yes. I am here to tell you that the time has come for the Chosen Ones to be brought to me."
Orlex said, "Sorry sir but I thought we were going to kill them on their planet."
Jola said, "I don't have time for another failure. If we can't kill them then I want them to come here so I can kill them myself."
Orlex said, "And what do you want me to do?"
Jola said, "I want you to lead an invasion on Earth." Orlex said, "Yes sir."
Jola said, "You'll get as many ships and aliens as you need. But make sure the job gets down."
Orlex said, "Yes sir."
Jola said, "You may go now. And if you fail me, do not come back. Do you understand?"
Orlex looked at Jola and said, "Yes. Sir."
Jola said, "Get to work then."
Orlex stood up nodded his head to Jola. He then turned around and walked out of the room without making a sound.

Orlex walked up to an alien and said, "Round up as many aliens as you can. Tell them that we are going to Earth. This one is going to be worldwide."
The alien nodded and ran off to prepare for the world invasion.

On Earth in Idaho late at night, a mid 50's man named Bradley Reed walked up to a government facility gate. He had a bag strapped to his shoulder. He saw the camera were about to look his way. Bradley hid behind a bush. A military truck was driving toward the gates. Bradley watched the truck and saw a trunk in the back. It stopped at the gates. Bradley jumped out of the bushes and moved slowly toward the military truck. He opened the trunk and climbed in the back. The soldiers walked up to the truck and began to check through the truck and under it. Bradley laid in the trunk with his eyes closed hoping that no one would find him. The soldiers found that the truck was good. The gates opened and the truck drove through. Bradley waited for the truck to stop. When it did, Bradley opened the trunk and jumped out. He looked around and walked up toward the building. Bradley pushed the doors open and sneaked into the building. He heard voices coming near him. Bradley looked around and saw an office. He ran toward the office and opened it. Bradley closed the door behind him. He listened for the soldiers walk past the office. Bradley opened the door and looked around. The area was clear. Bradley walked out of the office and walked on looking for the file room. Bradley walked along the hallway looking at the door titles. Then he stopped at one that read file room. Bradley opened the door and walked in. he closed the door behind him and reached into his bag. He took a flashlight out and flashed it around the room. He looked for the I section of the files. He went down a file box until he reached I. Bradley opened it and flashed the light on the files looking for the one he was looking for. He finally found it. The Invasion on Los Angeles. Bradley took the file out and read it. He saw John's picture. Along with Robert Mark and Lesha's picture. Bradley put the file in his bag and found the Invasion on Moscow. Bradley check that file also and put that one his bag. As he was about to close it he found a file titled, The Chosen Ones. Bradley grabbed the file and opened it. Before he could read the file, the door knob was opened. Bradley turned his flash light off and put the file in his bag. He stood up and slowly closed the filing cabinet. The soldier turned the lights on. Bradley hid behind a cabinet. The soldier walked through looking for a file that he was ordered to get. Bradley sneaked toward the door. Once the soldier was far from the door, Bradley opened the door and rushed out of the file room. The soldier turned to the door and ignored it.
Bradley walked along until a man yelled, "HEY YOU!"
Bradley didn't turn around.
The soldier yelled, "YOU WITH THE BAG FREEZE!" Bradley ran off. The soldier ran after Bradley. Bradley ran into two soldiers. He pushed them out of the way and ran toward the entrance.
The soldier yelled, "STOP THAT GUY!"
Bradley pushed the doors open and ran toward the gates. A bunch of soldiers ran in front of the gates. Bradley stopped and turned around to see the soldiers running out of the building with their guns aimed at him. Bradley put his hands on top of his head.
A soldier yelled, "DOWN ON YOUR KNEES NOW!" Bradley got down on his knees. The soldier took his bag off his shoulder. He searched through it and grabbed the files out. He looked at Bradley and then back at the files.
He said, "Bring him to the general. Tell him what we found."
A soldier said, "Yes sir."
They lifted Bradley off his feet and walked him back into the building.

The soldiers walked Bradley through the hallways toward the general's office.
The general sat in his office reading when there was a knock on his door.
The general said, "Come in."
The soldier walked Bradley and his bag into the office.
The general said, "What the hell is this?"
The soldier said, "We found him inside the building sir. He had these in his bag."
The soldier tossed files to the general. The general grabbed the files and looked at them.
He looked up at Bradley and said, "Have a seat son." Bradley sat down.
The general said, "Close the door."
The soldier closed the door.
The general leaned toward Bradley and said, "What the hell do you know about the attacks on Los Angeles and Moscow and more importantly The Chosen Ones?"
Bradley said, "I know that you've hid everything you know about the aliens here."
The general said, "Who else knows about this." Bradley lied and said, "No one else. Just me."
The general said, "What do you know about The Chosen Ones?"
Bradley said, "I don't, all I know is that they were next to the invasion files."
The general said, "You're going to be put in the building prison for a while."
The soldier grabbed Bradley and lifted him up.
Bradley ripped his arm out of the soldiers hand and said, "Listen, the invasions in LA and Moscow was just the beginning."
The general looked at Bradley oddly and said, "What do you mean son?"
Bradley said, "A bigger invasion."
The general looked at the soldier and said, "Get him the hell out of my office. Put him in the prison."
The soldier walked Bradley out of the general's office.

The soldier shoved Bradley into the prison cell and locked the door after closing it. Bradley sat down on the bench and looked outside to see the sun was about to rise.

In Boise, a young blonde teenage girl named Zora Cooper was in her room putting make up on her face getting ready for school. She took her hair out of a pony-tail and walked out of her room.

Outside, a teenage boy named Vincent Presley was walking outside toward his school when across the street, Zora walked outside. Vincent stared at her beauty and gorgeousness. As he walked and stared at Zora he ran into another teenage boy named David Close. David dropped his keys.
Vincent said, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, man."
David grabbed his keys and said, "It's alright."
He walked off. Vincent was scared until he saw Zora again.
David walked up to his motorcycle and jumped on it. He put the keys in the ignition and started the motorcycle. David rode off to school.

Not far in space, space ships flew toward Earth. Orlex sat in the command seat of one of the ships watching as they got near Earth. Orlex slowly began to smile at the joy of terrified humans.

In Egypt, a group of tourist was being shown around when the ground began to rumble. Everyone looked up to see a giant space ship flying through the clouds. Everyone gasped in horror.

Somewhere in Europe, blue aliens jumped out of their space crafts landed to the ground. They began shooting humans and even capturing a few. People ran terrified.

Back in Boise, a teacher was teaching his students. Zora, Vincent and David sat in the same class. All of a sudden, everything in the room began shaking. Everyone looked around in horror. Zora looked at the window to see a space ship fly in toward the city. Zora was shocked at a real space ship.
The teacher ran up toward her and said, "Stay back." Zora stayed staring up at the space ship.

Back inside the government facility, Bradley still sat in the prison cell still angry until the ground started to rumble. Bradley jumped to his feet and ran to the window to see the space ship flying over the city. Soldiers ran past his cell.
Bradley ran up to the cell and said, "Hey! Let me out!"
The soldiers ignored him and continued running. Bradley yelled, "YOUR JUST GONNA LET ME STAY IN HERE WHILE THIS IS GOING ON!"

While the students stayed in their classrooms, blue aliens jumped out of the space crafts and began running around town capturing people and killing those who fought back. A group aliens walked toward the school.
The teacher in the school saw them coming and began to panic.
He yelled, "EVERYONE RUN!"
Everyone in the class stood up and ran out of the classroom. Aliens entered the school through all the windows and doors shooting at the students. As Zora hid she saw a free door. Zora stood up and ran toward the door. An alien kicked the door open and ran toward her with a laser gun aimed at her.
Zora backed up away until a voice yelled, "GET DOWN!"
Zora turned to see David about to swing a pipe. Zora ducked as David slapped the alien in the face with the pipe. Zora stood up and turned to David.
She said, "Thank you."
David said, "No problem."
Laser flew at them.
David grabbed her wrist and said, "Let's get the hell out of here."
They ran out of the school.

As the general was giving ordered to prepare for attack he walked toward Bradley's cell. Bradley looked at the general. The general took out his keys and unlocked the door.
He opened the door.
Bradley stared at him speechless.
The general said, "Get as far away from here as possible."
Bradley nodded and ran through the hallway of speeding soldiers.
Bradley ran outside and saw a truck. Bradley ran up to the truck and luckily it was unlocked. He opened the door and jumped inside. He began to hotwire the truck. When it turned on, Bradley backed out of the parking space and drove straight toward the gates. He drove threw them and on.

As David and Zora was running trying to get away from aliens at everyone turn, a bunch of aliens walked in front of them with laser guns aimed at them. David and Zora turned around to see the surviving students being pushed toward David and Zora. One of the captured students was Vincent. David and Zora put their hands up. Out of nowhere, Bradley drove toward them shooting the aliens surrounding the students.
Bradley yelled, "COME ON! GET IN!"
All the students began running toward the truck. David jumped into the front seat with Bradley. The aliens that Bradley didn't shoot began shooting the surviving aliens. Zora and Vincent jumped into the back of the truck. Bradley couldn't wait anymore, he had to leave the students that didn't get in the back behind. Bradley quickly drove off. While Bradley was driving off, David and the rest of the guys witnessed as human bodies were on the ground dead. Those that were alive were being dragged away by aliens. Bradley watched in horror as the aliens invaded Boise. Vincent looked around and rubbed his face. Zora looked at Vincent and looked up at the almost destroyed city.
As Bradley drove through a neighborhood, David saw his foster parents being captured also. He didn't show any emotions.
Bradley looked at his rearview mirror to see the aliens weren't following them. Bradley looked at David to see he didn't look scared at all. Bradley looked at Zora and Vincent behind him, Vincent was in shock while Zoey sat there just looking forward. Bradley clear his throat and said, "My name is Bradley Reed. I'm special but I'm sorry for any of your loses or anything like that."
David looked at Bradley nodded.
Zora crawled over to him and said, "Where are you taking us?"
Bradley said, "I have to take us somewhere safe. Somewhere the aliens won't find us."
Zora said, "Where is that?"
Bradley said, "Don't worry about that. Just hold on tight if we see any aliens duck down."
Zora laid against her back and looked at Vincent. Zora shook him. Vincent looked at her as a tear slowly fell down his face.
Zora said, "Are you okay?"
Vincent said, "Why is this happening?"
Zora said, "I don't know. It just is."
Vincent said, "This can't be happening."
Bradley looked at the rearview mirror to see Vincent was scared and Zora put her arm around him. Bradley looked at David again and said, "What about you?"
David looked at Bradley.
Bradley said, "Are you okay?"
David nodded.
Bradley said, "Do you say anything?"
David nodded.
Bradley said, "Well say something."
David opened his mouth and said, "Something."
Bradley stared at him for a while and then looked back at the road.

In one of the space ship above in space, Orlex stood looking down as smoke came from different parts of different countries. He smiled until an alien walked up to him.
Orlex turned to the alien and said, "What is it?"
The alien said, "I think it's time to make your announcement sir."
Orlex said, "Oh yes, that's right. Set a broadcast to any screen on that planet. Make sure it gets through. I want everyone to see and know this."
Orlex turned back to the dying planet and continued to smile.

Bradley drove him and the group of teenagers up to a shelter. Bradley looked at David as he reached for his gun.
He said, "Stay here."
He jumped out of the truck and walked over to Vincent and Zora as they lay in the back. He put his index finger in front of his lips and stood out in the open. He looked around the forest to see if the aliens had followed him.
He turned around after waiting for a while and said, "Coast is clear."
Vincent and Zora got out of the back of the truck while David also got out. Vincent looked around. Bradley put his gun back into his pocket and walked over to a door lead to a hidden shelter.
Vincent said, "What is this place?"
Bradley said, "A place to stay. To hide. To build." Zora said, "Why are we coming here?"
Bradley said, "It's the only place we're safe."
Vincent said, "Safe from what? What the hell is going on?"
Bradley took the keys out and unlocked the door with them. He opened it and ignored Vincent. He walked downstairs and the teenagers followed behind him.

When they got down to the shelter it looked just like a bomb shelter but it was different. Almost looked like an underground home. The lights came on automatically. Everyone looked around amazed. Zora said, "Who made this place?"
Bradley said, "I did."
Zora said, "When?"
Bradley said, "In 2012. When that attack was made on LA."
Zora said, "Why?"
Bradley said, "Because of aliens."
Vincent said, "Aliens?"
Bradley said, "You've been feeding into the shit the media has given you?"
Vincent said, "I see people like you all the time, aliens are real. Aliens aren't real."
Bradley looked at Vincent and smiled.
Zora said, "I believe it. I mean I saw them. We all did."
David nodded.
Vincent said, "Well I'm not convinced."
The ground rumbled. Dust fell from the ceiling. Bradley looked up and then back at Vincent.
He said, "You hear that? That's the sound of a hundred aliens attacking this planet. If they catch us they will capture us and take us to their ship as prisoners. And possibly kill us."
David stared at Vincent.
Vincent said, "I'm sorry. It's just, I've told myself all my life that what happened in LA was just a joke just to comfort myself. I never thought I'd actually see one in the flesh."
Bradley nodded and said, "You all make yourselves at home, I'm going to make radio contact. See if anyone survived."
Bradley turned around and walked over to his radio. He grabbed the speaker and put the ear phones on his ear. He turned it on and switched through channels to see if anyone was trying to make contact.
Bradley then heard someone screaming for help.
Bradley said, "Hello?!"
The man yelled, "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"
Bradley said, "Just calm down. Where are you?"
The man said, "Kansas."
Bradley looked off in terror to realize that this just wasn't in Nevada. This was all over the country. Bradley said, "Listen sir, I live in Nevada."
The man yelled in terror as shots of laser was heard through the speaker. Bradley listened in horror. He turned the radio off and closed his eyes and bent his head. Zora walked up to him and put her hands on his shoulder. Bradley turned to her and opened his eyes.
Then he looked at the rest of the group and said, "This was all over the country. We have been hit hard."
Zoey said, "How long are we going to be stuck in here?"
Bradley shrugged his shoulders.

David was looking through the shelf for any food he liked. Then he found some microwavable steak. David grabbed the pack and walked over to the microwave. He put it in and set the timer.
The rest of the group sat at a table in the middle of the shelter. Bradley sat at the table thinking of what the world looked like.
Vincent sat down across from Bradley and said, "I don't believe it."
Bradley looked at him.
Vincent said, "My parents are probably dead. Why is this happening?"
Bradley said, "They want something."
Vincent said, "Like what?"
Bradley said, "I don't know. But they want it really bad. So bad they have taken over the country." Vincent said, "How did you know this was going to happen?"
Bradley said, "I guess you can say I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. I mean LA and Moscow."
Bradley sat there for a while and began thinking. They attacked LA and Moscow for a reason. Now they have attacked the country.
Bradley stood up and said, "Of course. Whatever they are looking is here and in Russia."
Vincent said, "I don't follow."
Bradley said, "They aren't just here to cause chaos. They want something. And they have failed to find it."
Vincent said, "And after they find what they're looking for?"
Bradley looked at him and said, "They'll probably destroy us."
Vincent looked at him in fear and said, "Oh."
Zora and David walked over to the table with Bradley and Vincent. They sat down. Vincent turned to Zora and said, "The aliens are here looking for something. Something they didn't and couldn't get." David said, "Like what?"
Bradley said, "We don't know yet. But it has to do with the attack in LA and Moscow."
Zora said, "Well I'm not usually the one for adventures but don't you think we should help them."
Vincent said, "What? They'll kill us on sight." Bradley said, "You're both right. But still we can't just sit here and watch as our country is taken over by these creatures."
Then all of a sudden the television screen came on automatically. Everyone turned to the screen. Orlex's face came on the screen about to make his speech.

Every screen around the world either changed or turned up with Orlex's face on the screen. Orlex began to speak.
He said, "Ladies and gentlemen of Earth. I know you are scared and wondering why this is happening. Well let me be the one to say it first. We are not here to destroy this planet. We are here for one thing, and one thing only. The Chosen Ones."
Everyone watching wondered what he was talking about.
Orlex said, "They are wanted for the murder of our people. Turn them into us as soon as possible and we may leave your planet unharmed. If you don't know who they are and what they look like then these are there pictures."
Pictures came up with names under them. A man that looked similar to Bradley's age named John, a young man named Robert Mark, a young Vietnamese girl named Giang Huang, a boy from England named Christopher Pace and a Russian girl known as Sasha Ectova. Everyone examined the photos.
Orlex continued, "Now I speak directly to The Chosen Ones. Show yourself now or watch you and your planet die."
The announcement went off.

Zora said, "What the hell was that?"
Vincent said, "World. The whole world is under control. So we have no help."
David looked at the group.
Zora said, "We have these The Chosen Ones. I mean they defeated the aliens before, they can do it again." Bradley shook his head and said, "We can't depend on them. If this is the whole world then they aren't going to be able to do this on their own."
Vincent said, "What do you mean?"
Bradley said, "I mean, we have to fight these guys." Zora said, "How? This place is surrounded with hundreds and thousands of aliens."
Bradley said, "We can fight them. As long as we are together, we can do anything."
Before Vincent could say anything, the door was blown open. Everyone was blown across the shelter.
