I was afraid of being turned down, I was afraid you would say no and and end up hurting me and being broken hearted, I had been rejected so many times by people who I know cared for me but were in love with someone else.

Love is crazy it can make you blind and sometimes it can make you do some stupid things, that might make you feel good at the time but when you come back to your senses like "Bitch are you dumb" Or "What Is Wrong With Me".

Kayla P.O.V

I'm in my room writing in my journal when my sister Lily comes in the room bugging me.

"Hey KayKay can you take me to the park, momma said to come ask you" no Lily not today "but momma said said you have to" I said no "please please pleaseeeeeee "
Huhhh fine, but why should I have to do it, I'm not the only one in the house that can take you.

Mom yells from the kitchen "but your ass gon take her because I said so and I have to go to work" I yell and say "yes ma'am" Lily sticks her tongue out and I tell her to get out so I could get dress.

I take a quick shower, do the hygiene thing, brush my teeth, wash my face, lotion myself, then I put on my black bra and panties set with pink hearts on them .

I take out my ripped jeans my pink polka dot top, some pink socks, black Nike ones, my black belt that say boss in pink writing, my black purse and my black leather jacket. I get dressed then, I do my hair I have curly hair so I just put some water and moisturizer in my hair and keep it moving.

I tell Lily i'm ready to go, I get the keys from my mother and we're out the door the park is not that far but it isn't walking distance so I took my car. (it was a sweet 16 birthday present).

Lily P.O.V

I run in Kayla room to ask her to take me to the park, when I ask her she says no so I yelled at her and say please please pleaseeeeeee until she said yes, she started fussing and mommy yelled at her from the kitchen, I laughed at stuck out my tongue teasing her.

Then she told me to get out so I did. I went in my room to get dress I pulled out My Black Jeans, Black Jacket, Belt, Black Nike Shoes, I put on a pink shirt the said "Princess Are The Best They Don't Take No Mess" Tehe I Giggled at my shirt.

I put my shoes on and my jacket put my hair in a ponytail like Kay Kay showed me and put a pink bow in my head and I was finished. Kay Kay came in the room and said she was ready to go so I followed her.

Kayla P.O.V

We got in the car I started the car and waited for lily to put her seat belt on, after she put it on I put mines on and we were off to the park .

when we got to the park , it was a little girl and her big brother he was around my age they waved to us we waved back and lily got on the swings. I saw the other little girl get on the swing next to lily and they started talking so I continued to play panda pop.

I looked up to see where the boy was he was Sitting on another bench watching me, I smiled and asked him did he want to sit with me, he smiled and came over.

I asked him what's your name And How old are you ? he said "My Name is Derrick i'm 18 " He said " Wbu" Well Im 16 and my name is Kayla. Nice to meet you kayla "That's a beautiful name and so are you " I smiled* and said thank you and you are handsome yourself *blushing* he said thank you.

We looked over at the girls to see if they were okay they were at the monkey bars trying to see who could stay on the longest. I told lily she could play a little bit longer than we would be going home. Derrick asked for my number and then left with his little sister Maya.

Derrick P.O.V

I was a the park with maya when this pretty girl arrived there with her little sister, I waved and told maya to wave too, when I saw her it was like love at first sight .

They sat on the bench and her little sister went to go play on the swings, and soon after maya ran over there to get on the swings next to her. I sat on the bench on the other side by the slide when I looked over at the pretty girl , and she looked up she smiled at me so I smiled back, then she asked me to come sit with her and I was very happy when she did.

We talked a little told her my name and age, got her phone number. I told maya let's go and we went home.

Kayla P.O.V

I let lily swing on the swing one more time then we went home. when we got to the house, I put on a pizza and went in the room to change my clothes, I told lily to do the same and to go watch tv.

Darnell was on a two week vacation with his girlfriend angela and Dominic is at a friend house for the week.
The Twins are at daycare,
Momma and Dee(Douglas) are at work .

So it was just me and lily, I put on my boy short and a tank top and laid on my bed on my phone until the pizza was done. When I looked At my phone I had a text from an unfamiliar number.

and then I remembered it was Derrick from the park , so I text back and said " wassup derrick *with a smiley face emoji*

Me- Laying down texting you waiting on the pizza to get done .
Derrick ❤- Awe Shit I love pizza , save me some .
Me- Okay but how you gon get it . *smiley face emoji*
Derrick ❤- I could come and get it *tongue emoji*

Derrick ❤- *Laughing emoji* Yes

I checked on lily then on the pizza , took the pizza out fixed me and lily plate we had pizza, Doritos, with kool-aid, and then some cake , we were full. we chilled in my room until momma got home , lily fell asleep in my bed, so I decided to clean up a little so I washed the dishes, and then went back in the room to watch a movie .

Momma didn't get home until 8:30p.m.-9 ishh, she came and got lily put her in her bed went in her room to change. she came back in my room to ask me how was everything while she was gone I said fine and that I had met a guy at the park. she told me to sit and tell her all about it so I did.
