The Van

One day in late June Will , Nico , Percy ,Annabeth and a few others were going on a trip to go see Hazel in camp Jupiter. Unfortunately it was a 40 hour drive , they would have flown by plane but due to Percy being there they couldn't . Nico was sitting in the back by the window so he didn't really need to get involved in conversations . By now they have been driving for around 30 hours and Nico hasn't slept at all . He had been constantly drinking black coffee with extra sugar . He doesn't want to sleep due to people being around him and it made him extremely uncomfortable . And he talked in his sleep. What if he said something about his secret relationship with ... Will !!! But after a while Nico's eyes were closing and he couldn't fight it anymore. He was already half asleep by this point now. He started leaning down , he landed on something that felt suspiciously like a lap . He felt someone's arm wrap tightly around his chest and someone's hand running through his hair. He felt so relaxed like a moment from when he was young happened again but his mother was gone , who could it be he thought to himself. Before he could find out he fell asleep . After 3 hours he woke up out of his slumber for a few minutes but he didn't have enough energy to open his eyes . He heard the group around having a conversation .

"If you like him just ask him out already" Annabeth said in a calm voice

" But what if he doesn't love me back??" There was a collective groan from the entire van, followed by "he is literally using you as a pillow right now!" Percy says Nico was trying to process what's going on before going back to sleep.
