backstory

You knew Duncan ever since you were 5 years old because your dad and his mom were both meter maid partners. Of course, you didn't like him at first, but after a few days, you became best friends and he introduced you to his sister and his other friend, Wolf. Wolf was a poor, fluffy-haired boy who you might have a little crush on but that didn't stop you from getting good grades.

when you guys weren't at school, you'd explored the woods near Wolf's place and found an old trailer with dead raccoons inside. You always found Wolf's place depressing because his mom was an alcoholic and never really cared about him and his dad was never around because of their divorce, his stepdad was mentally abusive to Wolf so every time you saw him his eyes were red and puffy so whenever you guys went to Duncan's place Mrs. Harris would treat you like her children and you felt at home.

When you were 8 you had to move to California due to your dad being bumped up to an actual cop. You were sobbing because you didn't want to leave your friends and the town you lived in for your whole life. as you tell Duncan you couldn't help but think how Wolf would react because you were always there for him and helped him when he tried to commit s/s or run away.

So, when you told him he didn't talk to you until it was time for you to leave. When you were at Duncan's house to say your last goodbye and wolf was there; turns out he left home and was staying at Duncan's house for a few days until he was old enough to live on his own. As you see him walking down the stairs, he walked to you and stopped right in front of you, and just stared at you for a while until he embraced you in a loving and fearful hug. "I'll see you soon Y/n but until then I'll miss you," he says in a calm and remorseful tone.

"I'll miss you too wolf." As you say that you feel a teardrop on your shoulder, and you start to tear up as you remember all the fun times you had together. *I love you Wolf and I will never forget you. *
