Meet The Gang (y/n's POV)

It has been a few days since we moved back to Mississippi, and I haven't gone back to school because it was fall break and I have a lot of unpacking to do, Yangzi said something about go seeing his friends at the trailer, so I decided to go with and see what they're talking about plus Yangzi told me I didn't know the whole friend group so let's see who I don't know.

As soon as we get there, I see two girls. One has a nose piercing, with a pea coat on over a pink shirt, and long hair with both sides shaved and the other is wearing a teal hoodie with purple sleeves over a white t-shirt, a brown purse, and has her hair up in a small bun on the top of her head with hair down on the sides and back.

"Yangzi who's this." the girl with the bun says in a joking way. "Bex, Mia this is my new step-sis Y/n. Y/n this is Mia and Bex." Yangzi says to the two girls and me. "Hi, nice to meet you both!" The one with the bun walks up to me and hugs me but the other one doesn't and gives me a funny look. "Yangzi why didn't you introduce Y/n to Duncan and Wolf?" Bex asks Yangzi with a very confused look. "Oh, I already know them. We've been friends since we were five."

"Ohhhhhhh, so you're the famous Y/n that Duncan and Wolf talk about all the time!" That last part got me. 'Wolf talks about me? really? No way, I mean he recognized me when I knocked on the trailer door, but that doesn't mean anything... right?' soon after a surten boy comes and gets me out of my thoughts. "Hey, Y/n you good? You look lost in thought." "H-hu oh y-yah I'm good. Hey Wolf, did you talk about me when I was gone?" he looked the same, but I swear I saw a sprinkle of blush.

"Oh, yeah, you always helped me with my stepdad, so how could I not." He mumbled something at the end, but it was hard to hear. "Anyway, how do you like Mia and Bex?" "They're cool but Mia looks like she's giving me the death glair," I say pointing to Mia who's giving me a nasty look. "Oh yeah, she is. Strange she's usually nice to everyone." 'So why was I different? Was my first impression that bad?' Wolf goes and talks to Duncan while I stand there and think of what to do next.

I decide to go talk to Bex because she looks fun to hang out with. "Hi Bex, nice to finely meat you!" I give out my hand for her to shake but all she does is stare at it. 'Is she going to bite me' HOW IS THAT MY FIRST THOUGHT OF HER!!! She won't bite me.... right? Whatever I can tell she has a kind heart... "AHHHHHH!!!!" She fucking bit me WTH "Oh my bad I forgot to mention don't try to give her a handshake before she smells your hand." Yangzi tells me a little too late, so I just give him the death glare. Duncan and Wolf come over to me and try to heal my bleeding hand and Bex is asking for my forgiveness which of course I forgive her. As they do that, I hear Mia chuckle and soon turn into a full-on laugh about my hand bleeding and how I'm an idiot.

 "What's so funny Mia?" I ask trying to find out why she's laughing. "Karma, that's what's funny." 'Karma? for what being here?' "Karma for what Mia?" Wolf asks in my defense which kinda makes me blush at his jester. "Karma for trying to steal my man." She says like a maniac (Yanderi vibes 🤪.) "Who's your man it can't be Yangzi because Yangzi and Y/n and step-siblings, so it has to be either Duncan or Wolf." Bex puts it smartly like she's doing math. 'I swear if it's Wolf I'm gonna be all over him and not care if she sends death threats.'

"Is it Wolf? I didn't pick you as a wild kind of girl." Yangzi asks Mia to which I stare at him and cling to Wolf. "No, it's not him it's Duncan. I can see the way he looks at her, that was the way he looked at me before... BEFORE SHE CAME!!" Mia tries to attack me but Yangzi and Bex hold her back while Wolf steps in front of me to be my shield. As she goes crazy on Yangzi and Bex's back Duncan walks over to Mia all shocked and angry. When he is right in front of her, she stops her rampage and looks up at him, his eyes are full of nothing but hate towards her. "Mia if you like me, you could have just said so you didn't have to act crazy and try to attack Y/n!" 

As soon as Duncan said that she immediately got up and ran out of the trailer in a huff. Duncan who is just standing there starts to cry. "Hey, Duncan it's ok." Trying to comfort him but fail he walks out and says he needs some air.

'Why do I ruin everything?'
