Chapter 3

We got our order and sat at a table. "So when your birthday" September 16th. "No way I'm September-" he said before the cut off "September 6th". I said he didn't look sad fazed as he did the first couple of times. "Who is Tyler and why don't you like him" I said "he's just an asshole who can't expect that nevermore is the only reason his town is still running" he takes a sip from his coffee. "What is the Poe competition". I said I wanted to sign up. "It's a comp where everyone builds a canoe and we race from one side of the land to the other and get a flag first one back to the main island wins". He said half done with his coffee by now.

"Can I still sign up" i asked "Yeah im pretty sure Enid is down a person". I was happy I knew I could build an amazing boat. We walked back to nevermore and talk some more. Even though he was not allowed on my side of the wing he still dropped me off at my dorm. "This is where we end the night" he said both facing each other in front of my door. "I had fun.... Thanks" I'm not used to saying I had fun and I definitely never say thanks to just anyone. "I had fun too maybe we can do it again some time if your down" he said smiling "yeah I would like that" why I am acting like this.

I didn't know what to do next. "Ok well goodnight Xavier" I said "goodnight" I walked in my room. Before I could even close the door and take on step I heard that witch voice. "Who were you talking to" of course Bianca was all up in my business. "Quite frankly none of your business". I said finally taking a step to my bed. "I know you were talking to Xavier just to let you know we us-" I stopped her "y'all used to date and I'm not here to steal your ex or maybe I am and if I am you shouldn't care because there is a reason you call him your ex" the women was to stunned to speak. "I'm letting you know now to-" she said I can't talk her seriously "to stay away blah blah blah I don't care what you have to say now leave me and my life alone" I said and headed down to MRS.Weems Office.

I walked through the door. I want to change rooms I said. "Why what seems to be the problem with your room" she said setting aside her computer. "That bitch bi-" "language" she said "that female dog Bianca is getting in my nerves and I haven't been here for 24 hours I can't stand a whole semester with that witch". I know I'm being hypocritical saying she's a witch when I'm literally one but still. "Fine we have one room open but there is already 2 people sharing it" she said "Wednesday and Enid if that ok wi-" "I'll take it" I said "ok I'll let them know" I went back up to my wing and packed my stuff. Bianca wasn't there. Thanks god.

I went to Wednesday's room and knocked on the door. "Oh hi Raven I didn't know you were staying over" Enid answered the door. "I'm living with you guys now"
"is that's why there is another bed in here" she asked. "No it's there as a decor ye sits there because I'm moving here" god she's so stupid sometimes. "What are you doing up so late lights are supposed to be out 10 minutes ago" Wednesday asked. "I went out with Xavier and then got into a tiff about Xavier with Bianca" I said Enid was shocked.

"You know" "yes I know they used to date Enid but they are exes for a reason" i said. "Also can I join your group for the Poe cup" I asked "omg yes ofc we start painting the boat tomorrow so this is perfect". I smiled and made my bed. The next day my schedule was ok I guess. I had Wednesday in all I'm guessing because we both are new and entered at the same time.

The last class we had was Miss. Thor hill she was a plant health Ed art teacher idk she was whatever. "Hello welcome Wednesday and Raven please pick a seat" Wednesday went to sit with Enid which meant I had to sit next to the person who I went on a date with last night. I wasn't complaining but I don't know maybe he didn't see that thing what I called a date like that. What if he saw it as a new friend handing out. "There is a seat next to me nevermore" he said stills drawing this portrait. "Didn't know if anyone sat there" I said and sat next to him. The truth is o did in fact know that no one sat there but was to scared

He finished and used his power to make his drawing come to life. It was a flower. "Here" he said he picked it up carefully and handed it to me. "The Black Dahlia one of my favorite flowers" I said it was true I loved these type of flowers. I held it carefully. "Where do i put it" i said "you can lay it down and smash it if you want" he said "it's fun when you do that" he said once more. I did I say it down and hit it with my hand. It disappeared in the thin air.

"Ok class today can someone please tell me what flower this is" Bianca raised her hand but she took to long. "It's the ghost orchid reasoning for that name is because the roots are so confined it seems like the flower is floating. It also need a very humid environment to grow". She looked at me upset. "Good job miss.nevermore you are correct Bianca seems like someone is looking for trouble with you" she just smiled threw the pain.
