Chapter Ten
James POVI was so happy she agreed to move in with me. I also got her a job on the movie lot. She seemed to enjoy it much better than when Nora worked at the diner.
We got my home nice and cozy for the both of us to enjoy. I was very happy that I could come home and have someone waiting to be beside me.
I let her paint our bedroom lavender. It had been a dull brown so it did look brighter with the colors she picked out.
The new curtains were lavender, yellow, and light green. Pastel colors.
She was very good at decorating things. So I soon had her redoing my whole entire home. It was looking more like a woman lived there to in no time.

"Jimmy! I finally got mail here! So it's official no turning back!" she jokes as she comes in with our mail. She liked great wearing blue jeans a tank top. Orange one. And she had a do rag on her head. It was orange and yellow. She had been out planting a garden for us.
Out in the backyard area.
"Why would I ever want to turn back? When we are going forward together?" I point out to her. "What did you get in the mail?" I ask her.
"Oh, the new Sears catalog is all" she giggles as she shows me. "I planted carrots some corn, beans and more out there. Those little tomatoes to that you like in salads" she says to me.
"Great! I didn't know you had a green thumb!?" I tease her.
"Not really sure if I do but I still wanted to try to create a garden!" she tells me.
I liked that she was so happy here with me. Because she made this a home. She created happiness here in these walls. I wanted to keep it that way. Maybe one day we would get married. And make this official.
I would make her my bride.
She would make a perfect one.

"What is it? You have a goofy look on your face Jimmy what? Something on my face?" she laughs.
"Nothing. I just like seeing you so happy that's all" I promise her.
"Alight you! I'm going to go hop in the shower and when I come back I will make you dinner babe" she promised me. She kisses me on the lips.
