An Abrupt Trip

Author's notes: An alternative episode 8. F4 Thailand should have been 28 episodes at LEAST. We should have seen the 3 most popular storylines before Thyme's fiancée was brought in. The contest when Gorya could see Thyme is there for her when she wasn't confident. I would have like Gorya to witness Thyme with a little boy or girl, helping her babysit. She would have seen his good, gentle, playful side more often. The Canada storyline where he saves her life. With this storyline, she FINALLY understands what she means to him and she's sorry for worrying him.

After clinking the two soda bottles with Ren, Thyme told them how he wanted to pursue Gorya for real. Of course, MJ and Kavin chuckled. Couldn't they tell he was serious about her yet? He had an idea. "Say Guys, think a getaway is too far-fetched?" Ren sighed. "Gorya won't like that idea. Granted, she probably would like the romance behind it but a getaway?"

Kavin thought otherwise. "Finally you're thinking like a Casanova." He grinned at Thyme. MJ nodded his head. "Or Don Yuan. But how will you get her to agree to go with you?" MJ couldn't help but ask, adding his opinion. Thyme smiled his big goofy grin. Oh Boy. This is going to be trouble. "Simple. Kavin, I'll need your help."

Kavin sighed. Which means it has something to do with Kaning. "All you have to do is tell Gorya's friend I'm inviting her along. While in the meantime, I'll tell Gorya it's not safe to leave you two alone together..."

Thyme couldn't believe how fast his idea was getting to him. "That's your idea?!" MJ frowned at him. "It's horrible." Thyme stared at his friend. "Look, all I know is I have to make my move before another guy is in the picture. Besides, she deserves to have a great Christmas and New Year's Eve without anything to worry about. And I'll bet she's never even seen snow!"

Ren unbolted his cola, looking at Thyme. "So where will we be staying? That three-story log cabin of yours in Canada?" He asked. Thyme pointed at Ren, shaking his right index finger at him slightly. "And that's why your my best friend." Ren smiled at Thyme at the same time glancing his head down.

MJ snickered. "I can't wait to see how you bring this idea of yours to Gorya."

Once he was back home, Thyme spend the night thinking about how he would approach the subject to his girl.

Gorya woke up early but she wasn't headed toward school or the Flower shop. Yesterday, her mother had asked her if she could babysit her best friend's little son, Lamon. Maybe they could go to the amusement park. Getting up from her bed, she went to her wallet and checked how much she had on her. Just enough if she made their lunch at home. She frowned. After she was dressed, and getting ready to comb her hair, she received a video call from Thyme, who insisted on meeting up with her today of all days. "Thyme," She started, already annoyed with him. "What makes you think I have free time today?"

Thyme stared at her. "We don't have school and I know for a fact your off today."

Gorya lowered her jaw in shock. "Listen, you Jerk, I am busy."

Thyme frowned, annoyed with her as well. "What? Are you meeting a guy?" Gorya clicked the video end call button. One day. She looked forward to that one day when he would stop acting like a spoiled rich brat.

Thyme scowled. Seemed like Gorya didn't want to tell him and that made him nervous. Was she meeting a guy or was she upset with his accusation? He tried calling her back but she wasn't answering which made him worry. He needed to see her. Thyme didn't care if he only had six hours of sleep. Heading into his car, he first drove to Gorya's house. Glakao answered the door, explaining that Gorya was helping their mother's best friend but he told Thyme where he could find her. Which bus led to their destination.
