Kanna's Tea Party (short yttd story)

[KANNA POV]

While Shin was driving the car, even though he specifically said not to speak at all, Kanna really wanted to talk to Gin! Gin was busy looking out the window and pointing at every animal he saw though! Kanna also got distracted by literally everything when she looked outside the window! Everything was just so beautiful! Gin then stopped looking outside and turned to Kanna. He looked at me with a weird face! He then grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil that he found on the bottom of the car and placed it on his lap. He then began to write on it.

'I'm soooooooooo bored, why can't we just talk to each other, meow?' 

Hey, Gin also drew a cute little kitty next to his writing! Such a cute kitty cat! Kanna then took the paper and pen from Gin and started writing on it too!

'Kanna thinks we might've made Shin angry...'

'I mean, I did make him fall, woof...'

'Kanna also accidentally pushed him down the stairs...'

'You did that, meow?'

'Mhm...'

"We're here," Shin announced to both Gin and Kanna. Gin got startled and threw the paper and pen under Shin's chair. "Did you guys both do something stupid again?" Shin asked, looking at how startled Gin and Kanna looked. We didn't do anything wrong, Kanna promises!

"No..." Kanna quietly said.

"Well, whatever. I honestly don't care anymore. Get out of the car." Shin replied, unlocking the car doors. Kanna walked out of the car, and Gin followed!

"Hey, loner! Where's Mew-chan, woof?"

"He's still in the car, why?"

"I need to bring them with me, meow!"

"People are probably going to think you stole him, but whatever. Go get it from the front."

"Thanks, woof!"

Gin went to go grab Mew-chan from one of the seats in the front and Gin and Kanna started running towards the entrance of the store!

"Hey, get back here!" Shin yelled from afar. Kanna and Gin just kept on running!

"This is honestly pretty fun, meow!" Gin told Kanna.

"Kanna agrees, but she thinks we should probably stop getting Shin mad..." Kanna then looked back at Shin and noticed how slow he was running! Gin also looked back at him.

"He runs pretty slow, woof..."

"Yeah, Kanna thinks we should go back to him!"

"I think I'll just go run around, see ya later, meow!" Gin announced to Kanna, and then ran away! Kanna was very concerned, we probably wouldn't be able to find Gin in the store! The store's really big, and Kanna heard from Joe and Sara that Gin was very good at hide 'n' seek, so this is very bad! Kanna ran back to Shin.

"Oh, Kanna, there you are..." Shin stopped for a moment to catch his breath. "Wait, where the heck is Gin?"

"Gin told Kanna that he was going to run off somewhere in the store!" Kanna happily told Shin. Shin looked back at Kanna with an upset face... did Kanna do something bad? If so, she apologizes!

"Come on, we have to go find him!" Shin exclaimed and dragged Kanna towards the store.

"But Gin's very good at hide 'n' seek! That's what Joe and Sara told Kanna!"

"This is going to be hell."

[GIN POV]

I ran into the store and then looked around, where should I hide, woof? I then saw some shelves with a whole bunch of boxes! Maybe I could hide behind those, meow? I ran towards them, accidentally bumping into other people shopping in the progress, oops, woof...  Hey, I finally made it to the boxes, meow! I climbed onto the third shelf and hid behind some boxes, woof! This is going to be so fun, meow!

[SHIN POV]

This is going to be an extremely long day. I should've just gone here by myself or didn't let Kanna invite Gin over, because now I have to go look for him. Kanna told me he's really good at playing hide 'n' seek, so this is going to be hell.

"So, where do you think Gin went?" I asked Kanna.

"Kanna thinks Gin probably went to go hide somewhere with a lot of hiding spots! Maybe where Gin would fit maybe behind some boxes?" Kanna suggested.

"Alright, might as well go look for a bunch of boxes, I guess." I sighed, and grabbed Kanna's hand so she wouldn't leave me as well. "There's boxes over here, come on."

"Okay!" Kanna smiled.

We walked over to a shelf with a lot of boxes stacked close to each other on each shelf. Kanna looked at me and then ran around the shelf to try to see if she could find Gin.

"Can Kanna go on the shelves to see if Gin's hiding between the boxes?"

"...Sure, just don't get lost."

Kanna then went onto multiple shelves looking for Gin, and then I randomly heard some sort of whispering that kind of sounded like Kanna and Gin's voices. Were they talking about causing more chaos?

"Come on, Gin! Shin's very tired and we need to go get our tea!" Kanna exclaimed, jumping up and down. "Let's go!" Kanna grabbed Gin's hand.

"Wait, be careful, woof! I think I'm going to trip- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-" Gin yelled.

I then watched as Gin fell down a bunch of shelves and faceplanted onto the floor. Great. Just great.

"Oh, no! Gin, are you okay?" Kanna asked Gin. Gin attempted to make a thumbs up with his paws. Kanna jumped down from the shelves and also fell. "Ow! That really hurt!"

I slowly walked over to them, concerned. "Why don't we just, uh... go shopping another time...?"

"But... the tea party's tomorrow! We have to do it now!" Kanna said, getting up from the floor. I could see a couple of bruises on her face.

"Kanna, you're hurt. Gin's hurt, too. We should probably go home, and try doing it early tomorrow morning? When does your tea party start?"

"Kanna forgot to mention the time... all she said was that it was on Saturday..."

I sighed. "Well then, you could text Hinako and tell her it's going to be at like 3 p.m. or something like that, okay?"

"Okay... but, Kanna doesn't have her phone with her right now!"

"Then, do it at home!"

"Oh, right. Sorry, Kanna forgot she could do that!"

I then slowly walked over to Gin, since he was still laying on the ground. "Gin, are you alright?" I asked him, helping him get up from the floor.

"Mmmmmmh... Can we go home, meow...?"

"Yeah, we're doing that now. It seems you got hurt more than Kanna, so maybe you shouldn't go shopping with us tomorrow."

"Awwh man, woof..."

"Come on, we're leaving." I told them both, grabbing both Gin and Kanna's hands and walking out of the store to go find my car. I then took out the car keys from my pocket and unlocked the car doors. Gin slowly walked to one of the back seats, and Kanna was making sure he was okay. I took a deep breath, and we finally drove home.
